Really, sad that so many Christians are still falling for these sort of teachings. We cannot command God or create our future with our words. No matter how much prophetic speaking you do, if what you ask for does not align with Gods will for your life, then you ain't going to get it. So if its Gods will, it will happen. If not it won't. Remember Apostle Paul prayed (3 times) that God would take away his thorn in the flesh. But did God do it. No. Listen God is God. We ask in faith and wait for His response. If it is in His will, it will come to pass. If not, simply trust that God is good, loves you and knows best. Please stop falling for these sort of teachings. If we can use our words to create or change our situations or lot in life, how come Christians in Pakistan (that are being beheaded) aren't using the power of their words to change or stop themselves from being killed? There is a BIG disconnect with these sort of teachings and what the bible says we will face in this life. We believers should not expect this life to be a walk in the park. The bible says we will face diverse afflictions but we should count it all joy. And while we sit in church trying to 'command' our situations to change, how many sick people in hospital are we visiting? When was the last time you went out of your way to buy a hot meal for that homeless man at the end of your street? Many believers today are going about looking for some big purpose for their lives. Gods purpose for your life is to love God with all your heart and love you neighbour as yourself. Look for ways everyday to do this by the help of the Holy Spirit.
