THANK YOU for the advice about using a smaller tool!!!!!!! I was using my bigass pear tool and I couldn't figure out why it was catching so bad. No one else I watched on KZfaq mentioned that. Knowledge for the next bowl ^_^

I tap center, usually with no wads or anything else to holt the pot. I use one tool for all trimming and use a low speed for trimming (very important). In my opinion it's much faster to tap center and being able to pick the pot up in between and just recenter it quickly.
