The grease is a dielectric Grease it’s expensive, it allows electrical current to low through it, bend the contacts out a small amount to make contact to the disk which is built partially conductive.

For the past two weeks I've been trying to figure out how this thing works the rear differential lock and you're the first person or should I say your video is the first video that has to explain how this thing really works they don't tell you about when it's flashing and it doesn't stop that means you got a problem I bought this truck with no manual book to help me out and I have looked at a a dozen or more videos for information on how this thing works thank you for your help you were very detailed with your video keep on doing videos like that my thanks
