I also discovered them through Yibo (Untamed) and fell in love with the whole group. I was (still am) devastated by Uniq’s circumstances. Knowing they probably won’t have another OT5 comeback kills me and makes me so sad. Uniq is one of the rare talented, all rounded groups. It’s really a waste if they just end like that. I also regret not knowing them when they were active. Would have stanned the shit out of them. But perhaps be even more heartbroken then when they went into hiatus.

don't think that's gonna happen since yibo is back in china now and his career will most be probably developing in China. Sign. The hiphop culture in China is not very popular so I guess he's be focusing on acting then...

Thing is, uniq is doing better individually then they ever did as a group. the success some of the members are having in China and seungyoun individually in Korea will earn them far more money than they ever could in a kpop group. now they’re all going solo with their fair share of individual endorsements, acting projects, variety shows etc so they don’t have to split profits like normal kpop groups. but yes if they were big internationally and in kr like winkon it would certainly be a different uniq. But then they might not have the ability to pursue their own projects and become so individually successful.

this group was not yg's. Its like a collab with yuehua ent. They sent their trainees to korea for more specialized training. They lived at the yg dorms at one point and attended school in seoul but they were never going to debut under YG.

@@Bella-po8vh Agreed. K-pop Boy groups have their own problems from lack of individuality allowed to the Aegyo culture. Also, financial issues and insane work schedules. I think they all faired better pursuing their solo careers. Maybe, Uniq could have been the next big thing. But I think it is better that all of them got to go on their solo careers in the early phase itself. In general, idol even if they feels stuck later on, they don't get the confidence to disband and completely go solo when their groups have gotten successful.
