I have been waiting for over 30 years for someone like you to come along! I have been a design engineer for decades, doing both analog and digital design, but have discovered, probably before you were born, that unless you have experience with the "tools" they won't hire you in VLSI. For example, for decades one had to have experience with Synopsys synthesis and other tools as well or they would not look at you. I do have one question: for example, would the tools that you mention above substitute for the tool chain of Cadence Virtuoso (schematic capture and layout), Cadence Genus (for synthesis) and Modelsim (or some such verification engine)? Again, great job on this.

For RC extraction , how we are going to get spef file ? Though these are pretty detail question . I want to know the overview regarding this . Please let me know . Hi Dheeraj. Urvish here. Maven Silicon uptill now was offering Front-end VLSI courses. Now, it also provides for backend Physical Design. For more updates pls visit their website. I can share regarding their Advanced VLSI Design and Verification course. From my 3 months training experience at Maven Silcon, I can tell that you will not regret your decision to join Maven. Trainers are very skilled and explain all concepts with great clarity. The Maven team is very supportive. Overall, very good feedback. I myself am still not involved in placements but I am made aware by the Learning and Development team that 60 % of students get placed before completion of their training. Training is of 6 months. Also, afterwards Internship is of 6 months. Hope you have received what all was required. All the best. :)

Great then straight path is write gate and go for MTech from good college.. Other wise you need to explore offcampus and need to build a strong cv around vlsi... And thn apply as many as possible, write email to as many hr as you can.. Build a strong network in linkedin .

@@whyRD sir,In future whether M.Tech will give me more growth opportunities? or exploring off campus and building strong CV is better than doing M.Tech and joining after 3 years?Sir I have studied technical parts like analog,EDC,digital & Network

Exploring off campus also need time say around 1 year... So i short term in general salary would be good for top tier mtech, but in long run all are in the same place... See my job after btech video..

That a option.. Other option do masters from good college and land into top VLSI jobs ... Or get a 6 month traing with good vlsi institution who have good placement records(ensure you have all circuit fundamental ready) , land into a less paying vlsi jobs , work there for 2-3-4 year and switch to best vlsi product company.
