Today’s Life Question of the Week comes from someone who has broken up with their romantic partner, who is also their business partner, due to betrayal, and wants to know how to continue the business relationship and regain the ability to trust them.
Next, Michael sits down with Emily Fletcher. Emily is the founder of Ziva Meditation, an international speaker, the author of the best-selling book “Stress Less, Accomplish More,” and the host of the new podcast, Why Isn’t Everyone Doing This? A formerly stressed Broadway performer going gray at 27, Emily was desperate for a solution when she found meditation which immediately cured her insomnia and anxiety. Her transformation was so dramatic that she quit acting, went to India, and studied the ancient tools Ziva students swear by today. Over the past three years, she has dedicated herself to developing innovative embodiment practices that empower individuals to transmute stress into boundless joy.

I've been to a meditation retreat with Rev Michael. Trust me when I say, the dude is freaking hilarious. I was in complete zen mode 70% of the time, but I was laughing my ass off at his jokes the other 30%.

It is my understanding, too, Emily, that so many of the things in life that bring us PLEASURE have been considered to not be “good” things in life. Sex is an obvious example. Yet...what Michael’s teachings made me realize is that Sex, like Meditation, is simply a tool that allows us to exchange energy. What we DO with Sex may not be what a person might call “sacred,” but Sex ITSELF is just as sacred as meditation or prayer. Thanks for your help on this. 😊

I am suffocated and drowned in grief. It's been over 5 months of this hell and torture. Basically almost all of 2023, so far... I live in perpetual panic, and constant despair. MY SOUL IS RAPED. I HAVE SEVERE PTSD. The man whom I thought was my best friend, he gave me this PTSD... The man whom I thought was my best friend... He raped my soul. My soul is anguished and tormented and raped, I am so so so traumatized. I have SEVERE PTSD. Severe severe severe!!! My soul is raped. He raped me. Oh the anguish and the agony. He fucked me up. Ruined me. Destroyed me. Raped my soul; shattered my heart; fucked my mind. I am debilitated from the trauma. Paralyzed frozen. Living in constant terror and panic. REMINDER TO SELF: This was a karmic friendship, meant to be there for a limited time (17-months-ish) to teach you, about yourself! About boundaries, about self-love, about self-respect, about self-worth, ABOUT JESUS! HALELLUJAH! etc... About a whole plethora of magical, juicy, alchemical miraculous things! The universe, God, your guides, your ancestors, are pushing you, lovingly, in the perfect direction: into your own magnificent powerful magical freedom! When you let go. The universe will catch you. It’s talking to you. Let go of everything and trust the universe. It’s within you. ✨💫

Beautiful episode enjoy the conversation. I love the idea of having a football field stadium event that’s focusing on raising the vibration of the planet. Perhaps having this event at the same time of the 2024 Super Bowl and inviting scientists like the HeartMath institute to measure the vibration of the planet❤
