Just what I needed to clean up my grouping and pressure situations when hunting.

The best thing for buck fever is seeing more deer and just being used to seeing them with freaking out. If you shoot every deer you see, every deer is a trigger. Passing on smaller bucks helps for when the big boys walk in.

I totally agree, the best shot's I've made I have been in the moment and not even thinking about the shot. Just trust in your training, visualization of the shot then execute.

I've been shooting a compound bow for the last 6 years with good results. This year is different. I have been more conscience of my shot routine and have been working on my anchor point a whole lot. As you said here, the more you do it the more it becomes routine. You have confirmed what I've been thinking these last few months. Thanks. I am now a subscriber.

I also heard visually imagining the shot and I like you mentioned it because it's a great tip. Thqnk you for making this video also, it is already helping me!

My timing mantra is: this is the time, this is the place, and you are the man. Once my hinge release clicks my mantra start in my head and I can only say that mantra twice, if my arrow still knocked, I cancel the shot. Thanks for you advice and " keep it in the middle " !!

I utterly appreciate all your videos. I am a long range one mile plus .338 Lapua rifle shooter. Then, one day I picked up a bow and cannot put it down six bows later. So far, I have learned everything I know about bows from KZfaq. You are by far the best bow instructor on KZfaq. Yes, I know about the others which I want mention any names. I thank you for all the help and guidance. Thank You again!

I have been using an open stance but my bow arm (really shoulder) is fatiguing to fast. I am going to try the closed traditional T stance. Thank you.🏹🤠👍

My feet are set, my hand on my release is set, my grip is set, then draw my bow back into anchor. I tell myself "ANCHOR" by that time my peep is lined up around my sight housing, my pin has settled on the target. Then I tell myself "AIM", after that I tell myself "HERE WE GO" to keep my mind in the present. Then I say "PRESS PRESS PRESS" increasing back tension until my shot breaks. If I do it every time the arrow normally goes into the bullseye, within reason. But if I miss a step and miss the bullseye then I know I messed up and how to fix it.

Hey brother I’d like to ask you a favor, I love watching your videos. I’d like for you to do a video on the new Mathews atlas. Hardly anyone does a review on the ld bows that I need. You did a great job on the traverse, and I d love to see a video on the atlas as well. I know it might take you some time to get one in but still. Thanks in advance brother.

I get my best practice when no ones around the house. No interruptions. I can practice at an outside or inside range if it's not crowded etc. I'm referring to good solid practice. Not just slinging arrows. Working on a clean correct shot cycle more than score. More good info here. 👍👍👀

You should try practicing when people ARE around. There are lots of good "practice" shooters. The guys/gals that can keep it together when people are watching are the ones that prevail.

Inside Out Precision I wasn t clear on what I meant. I was referring to like when you are working with something new like a new bow or release or whatever. I like to be uninterrupted so I can focus better. And yes, shooting for score somewhere is very important to learn self control etc. Anxiety has ruined millions of shots when one real,y needs to be in control.

I was watching a video of Cam Hanes shooting at 160 yds and I'm really surprised about his release form. Seems like the tip of his finger is hitting the trigger and it really looks like he punches it; but he's getting 12" groups at that distance. I guess when you do something for thirty years you just do it the way you do it.

Best thing for not having buck fever don't hunt the eastern states tons of videos on youtube , those people can't handle a twenty yard shot In a tree. And hunting the high mountains to the west they would all have heart attacks from climbing a mountain there so out of shape..............
