Many Hindu organisation complained that there was a temple where God Ram was born before Babri Mosque which was built there at some 400 years back.

It was a symbol of slavery. When India became free, government should have itself removed that structure and constructed the memorial/temple of national hero, Shri Ram. Government did not do it, so people did it for their hero, Shri Ram. Still pending Mathura and Kashi.
