फीडे कैंडिडैट शतरंज का तीसरे राउंड में एक बार फिर भारतीय खिलाड़ियों नें कई रोमांचक मुक़ाबले खेले । सबसे ज्यादा चर्चा रही भाई बहन की जोड़ी प्रज्ञानन्दा और वैशाली की जिन्हे दूसरे राउंड में हार का सामना करना पड़ा था । प्रज्ञानन्दा नें तीसरे राउंड में हमवतन विदित गुजराती को पराजित करते हुए शानदार वासपी की , राय लोपेज ओपनिंग में प्रज्ञानन्दा नें विदित को काले मोहरो से 45 चालों में पराजित करते हुए शानदार वापसी की ।
In the third round of the FIDE Candidates Chess Tournament, once again Indian players engaged in several thrilling matches. The most talked-about pair was the sibling duo of Praggnanandhaa and Vaishali, who had faced defeat in the second round. Praggnanandhaa, in the third round, achieved a spectacular comeback by defeating compatriot Vidit Gujarati, showcasing brilliant prowess in the Ruy Lopez opening. Praggnanandhaa managed to stage an impressive turnaround by defeating Vidit in just 45 moves with the Black pieces.
