On the 16th of December 2023, I walked down the isle singing this song. As I was walking down, I started feeling sad and overwhelmed because my beloved mom was called home seven years ago. But, something happened. Immediately, I looked unto the screen where the lyrics of the song was displayed I felt joy unspeakable 😅 I gracefully walked down to the absolute love of my life. I pray the Lord will perfect all that concerns us in the name of Jesus Christ 🙏

Just opening my Hardware Store this morning here in Kenya, and I just cried listening, am in tears, "Who doth Prosper thy Work and Depend thee" that statement is me.. God has Truly been good to me, more than I even deserve and I don't know what to do to be grateful enough but this song has crashed me and built me all in one moment.. So blessed, and thanks for the talented lady and the whole team behind it, hope we will be able to support such content in God's Time.. Am ready to open now.. so blessed.. 😊😊😊❤❤❤

Sang this a long time ago when I grew up in church when we still used hymnals. Poured my heart into it in my college choir, surrounded by passionate musicians. Forgot about it until today when it surfaced in my contemporary service. It's hard to say why this one gut punched me in a way other old songs have not, except that it's been so long and I miss home.

This song always makes me cry. The first time I heard it, the line " to his temple draw near" evoked an image of me resting my head on the Lord's forehead... like I have done so many times when being consoled by loved ones. It wasn't until years later that I realized this song is talking about a Temple, like an actual place.....
