I was born and grew up in Klaten Suzan, the region near Jogja. I was passed Prambanan almost everyday during my college yr in Jogja in '94-98. When I feel stressful or bad mood. I just stopped by and enter the temple, just sit down and thinking that whatever I've been through just nothing compared to our ancestors who built the symbolization in the past. What have they've been through, what have they've been sacrificed to leave the monumental legacy like that. I just can imagine how they built this temple and other smaller temple spread along Java. Imagine in the past when thousands of people gathered in one occasion to praise the God in Prambanan, in Borobudur. So, can't complaint anymore about everything. Lives goes on and moves on. I got a deep thought and deep relation with Prambanan. Even though I'm living far away in Batam, Riau Archipelago, It's always present in my soul. Mountains, rivers, rice fields, temples.. I've leave you for so long but promised I'll be back. Thank you Suzan 🙏❤💚

Amazing! The prices are real, meaning that they are not marking it up so high for foreign tourists. The nunchaku price is truly Rp 50,000. The same size might cost Rp 75,000 in Jakarta or Surabaya. The Rp 20,000 for that T-shirt is also crazily low.

😁 Javanese language itself has 3 styles based on the honourific structure. For "to eat", the lowest style or Ngoko style is madhang or mangan. The medium style or Madya style is nêdha, and the highest style or Krama style is dhahar. So, the Javanese language is like a language with 3 sub-languages inside.

thank you for visiting Prambanan, there is one thing you missed, on the north of the Prambanan complex there is "Sewu temple", which is a Buddhist temple, in my opinion Sewu temple is the most beautiful temple I have ever seen, the building is unique because it is a transition from Hinduism to Buddhism, the structure of the temple tall like Prambanan, but has a stupa like Borobudur

near from that temple you can find plaosan temple...that also big temple and there is cheaper ticket than prambanan.. And dont forget go to Klaten city...to swim at umbul ponggok,umbul cokro or umbul penganten..the pools with the clear water And at jogja dont forget to go to obelix ocean view,heha ocean view, heha sky view,obelix sky view...

Since you are in jogja, we recomend you to go ; - candi ratu boko (top hill next to prambanan) -queen of south hotel, top hill of parangtritis beach -pindul cave (river cave) -ketep pass (sightseeing hill under merapi mount) And may be anyone want to add more

you need to enjoy the Ramayana Ballet performance on every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday night. it presents the dance ballet inspired from the relief found in the Temple... the story is about The Lost of Shinta, great war of Rama (Vishnu in human resemblance) vs Rahwana (resemblance of evil).. the music is composed using javanese gamelan instruments.. should be interesting for you guys..
