I have forever watched bollywood movies since my childhood. But totally agree with your statement brother. South indian movies & actors are gems no doubt..! I watched this song after Rowdy Baby, she danced so fantastically in that song so wanted to see more of her & found this song. It was close to meditation both by looking at it & listening it. Kudos to the creators of music, choreo & lyrics as well (I am sure although I couldn't understand the meaning) & ofcourse Sai Pallavi. Loved the section with her aggressive eyes.

First of all it’s Southern Indian but the real reason is the literature value of Telugu through which most of these writers gain their inspiration from. But these are still nothing. Our bar is set so low these days that anything that closely resembles our tradition is also great. Watch Telugu movies based on our itihasas and puranas from the 50s, 60s and 70s. The pure literary genius just blows your mind. You won’t watch other movies anymore. Start with Nartanasala.

Why is south Indian cinema better than Bollywood.......well, its just that because of the content-cinema wave that is spreading across the Bollywood, the real heart of Indian cinema which is a magical trio of story, music, action is not being accepted. Thats why, the regional cinema, which is still in its primitive form, not progressed so much, in terms of quality, retaining the nativity and originality, replete with sentiments, emotions, moral values, dialogues is getting a lot of appreciation in the north too. You know it should be an amalgamation of all kinds of levels of movies that should be celebrated, from Yash Raj's love stories to Rohit shetty's filmi movies to Karan Johar's love-specialist's movies to content and quality rich movies. The audience dont always want to be preached about. They wanna dance too. They wanna fall and believe in love too. They wanna be inspired too. They wanna be chilled out and relaxed too. They wanna be thrilled too. So, its a cocktailish kind of movies which should be the aim, so that variety is retained in the menu for the audience to decide, not just content-based cinema.

What I love about this song apart from the choreography, the cinematography and the song is that all the dancers are wearing red this means the main actress is not standing out wearing a different color dress. The choreography is done in such a manner that the strength and the charm of the main actress is shown through this. She is wearing same attire as rest of the back dancers and you can actually see the strength of her dance moves and her facial expressions which makes her stand out which is excellent in my opinion.

In the dress code of bharatanatyam and kuchipudi there won't be any difference between main lead and others, everyone dances equally. This is what they portrayed in this song

@@sushmasushu1475 that's not true. They can have different colours. Atleast if two people are there then they don't wear same colour to differentiate the characters they are potraying. When it's a group performance all side dancers have the same dress and the main lead is generally dressed separately. Like Krishna and gopikas. Gopikas all same dress and Krishna differently. I don't think having a uniform dress code is mandatory. Infact it's encouraged not to do so, so that audience can differentiate characters easily.

అద్భుతం జరిగేటప్పుడు ఎవ్వరు గుర్తించరు, జరిగాక గుర్తించాల్సిన పని లేదు" , త్రివిక్రమ్ గారి మాట ఇది. కానీ "ప్రణవాలయ పాహి " అన్న అద్భుతాన్ని ఏమనుకొని సృష్టించారో కానీ సంగీతం సాహిత్యం అంటే ఇష్టం ఉన్న ప్రతి ఒక్కరు , గుండెల్లో దాచుకోవాల్సిన పాట ఇది. సాహిత్యానికి అర్ధం చెప్పేంత విద్వత్తు లేదు, కానీ ఆ అక్షరాల్లో ని ఆవేశాన్ని , భావోద్వేగాన్ని ఆసాంతం అనుభవించే అభిరుచి ఉంది. శ్యాం సింగ రాయ్ అన్న సినిమా రాకపోయుంటే ? దానికి మిక్కీ జె మేయర్ గారు సంగీతం అందించకపోయుంటే?, సిరివెన్నెల గారు కాక ఇంకెవరైనా రాసుంటే? కచ్చితంగా తెలుగు వారంతా ఒక గొప్ప పాటని వినలేకపోయే వాళ్ళం. పాట విడుదలయ్యి ఇన్ని రోజులయ్యాక ఏంటీ వివరణ అనుకుంటే ఒక్కసారి ఏ రోజు విడుదల ఐన వీడియో సాంగ్ చూడాలి. సాయి పల్లవి ని ఈ పాట చూసాక "సాయి పల్లవి గారు" అని సంభోదించాలనిపిస్తోంది . ఎప్పుడో సప్తపది లో "అఖిలాండేశ్వరి చాముండేశ్వరి " పాటలో సబిత గారి అభినయం తర్వాత ఆ స్థాయిలో పాట లోని అర్ధాన్ని అనితరసాధ్యంగా అభినయించారు సాయి పల్లవి గారు. ముఖ్యంగా "దేహమునే కోవెలగ నిన్ను కొలువుంచా " ఈ లైన్ దగ్గర ఆవిడ ముఖ కవళికలు మాటల్లో వర్ణించలేం . తెర మీద ఎరుపు రంగు నక్షత్రాల సమూహం అమ్మ వారిని అర్చించినట్టు గా ఉంటుంది. ఈ పాట విన్నాక, చూసాక సిరివెన్నెల గారు లేని లోటు ఎంత ఉండబోతుందో అర్ధమవుతోంది. ఇది విషాద గీతమో , విరహ గీతమో కాదు కన్నీళ్లు రావటానికి,కానీ మనసు పెట్టి వింటే మాత్రం కన్నీళ్లు పెట్టకుండా ఉండలేం. ఈ పాటని చూసాక కాసేపటి వరకు అందులో నుంచి బైటకు రాలేం . యూట్యూబ్ లో ఎన్ని వ్యూస్ వస్తాయన్న దాని మీద పాట సక్సెస్ ని జడ్జ్ చేస్తున్నారు, ఈ పాటలో ఉన్న అంతర్గత శక్తి ని వ్యూస్ తో, లైక్స్ తో కొలవలేం. రాబోయే రోజుల్లో తెలుగు సినిమాల్లో క్లాసికల్ సాంగ్ తీయాలంటే ప్రణవాలయ పాహి పాటని ముందుంచుకొని ఒక పాఠం లా నేర్చుకోవాలి.

As a kuchipudi dancer her expressions and the way she shows emotion through the steps is spot on. I really love the choreography, the dresses and the make-up. Same feeling!! This deserves more views! But at the same time, a masterpiece like this does not need views to establish its worth and gain respect but a song like Ooantava mava needs millions of views to show its worth because it has no content.
