I hope Dej gets some kind of special award cause I don’t think she has ever missed a game. She’s precious and you can see she loves to dance. She works every damn time. I was rooting for her to be captain but Laneia is wonderful. I wish they could have continued with their KZfaq blog from a couple of seasons ago. It was sweet.

The JSU band and the Jsettes atee this merge up. It was so good, everyone was on point. The Jsettes captain came with them counts and technique. Glad to see Layah back on the team as well, she so good too. The Jsettes atee too looking counts and moves on point. Also, The crabs didn’t come to play either. 💯👌

1. The crabs are out dancing some of the vets. This is the result of the 2022 crab class barely dancing. 2. The vet tail is stiff and need to work on form. It's giving crab again. 3. Crab captain will be the one to watch 4. I'm claiming crab Armani as my fav this early 5. Keyshia is giving co-captain vibes. Very much Niecy 6. Very impressed with Lenia as captain. Word on the street she paying homage to her mother Kionna all season.

I know it’s just the first performance but I always felt like Laneia shoulda been a 2 year captain. After she led the post-halftime ramp routine for ‘21 CCC, I honestly thought she was next. And plus I never really understood her as a tail, it just made sense to me. I mean look at her she’s tall, has a very athletic build, clean, has form, literally the best choice of captain in years! But I will say, I’m glad she came in a year with better song selection from the Boom (so far).
