It still baffles me as to why I Ishizu Tear is not 5x5*, but snake eyes is. Ishizu Tear should have been the first maxed out rating deck imo
@_Sasuke_99Ай бұрын
For real tho. If anything, Snake-Eyes is what should have recovery at 4 and Tear have it at 5
@stevenashley27Ай бұрын
Idk how the strongest deck of all time doesn’t have the highest rating on here but Snake Eyes does? Recency bias much?
@AzkadazАй бұрын
@@_Sasuke_99 No, Snake-Eyes has the best recovery perhaps of all time. I would put attack at 4. Their typical end board isn't the most intimidating but it's extremely consistent and resilient. The Zealantis OTK is just the Fire equivalent of Accesscode Talker which plenty of decks have, so I don't think it's a standout mark in that favor.
@_Sasuke_99Ай бұрын
@@Azkadaz Ishizu Tear recovery is better, And ofc their attack is better too. They can very easily force out lots of negates with the deck engine alone, And could even OTK too with the field spell boost, Multiple removals and so on. If Tear doesn't get maxed out, Surely Snake-Eyes doesn't deserve to be maxed out either. That's our point
@AzkadazАй бұрын
@@_Sasuke_99 I agree, Tearshizu should be maxed out. Their recovery is still a 5. But it is NOT better than Snake-Eyes. Snake-Eyes has guaranteed recovery through Original Sinful Spoils in the GY, even if their entire field and hand gets nuked and they get Time Sealed. With Tear, they have to top deck Reinoheart or Perlereino
@BloodyVoyagerАй бұрын
Game 4 was disgusting. 4 handtraps, even though one is dead, and a 1 card starter that gets into an OTK through Nib. Just insane game design. Next match is Infernobles vs Dlink, right? One of the few matches in the modern bracket that's somewhat balanced lmao. Whichever goes first should take it.
@jabberjoАй бұрын
I think what really hurts the most about game 3 is that Lithium dodged 2 of 3 imperms and then met with imperm #3 before SE went through 10 cards if their deck. It happens but you still hurts when it does

The deck has blatant choke points and is terrible going second like your average combo decks, it will absolutely not do anything. Don't know why you want to bring up cockroach when both SHS dominated both MD and OCG at their peak, Adam literally refuses to die and has never leave the tier list until Block Dragon is banned, Dragon Link is the same, Mathmech had its time in MD and is enough of a threat in OCG that Circular got limited

maybe im coping but i feel like prank kids was held back mostly by the tech cards chosen in the list here. the engine seemed fine but stuff like ogre, twin twisters, droplet, etc really arent that great in this matchup. i suppose this is just a part of the tourney you cant really change though
@donaldlivingston75Ай бұрын
Pretty good fight from PrankKids! They were right there in just about every duel. Snake Eyes's resilience definitely showed in the final game though. Being able to survive the Nibiru and still OTK, while PKids died hard to it.

to summ up: snake won because it is allowed to do its entire combo without normal summon ,they for no reason also grave effects that are effectively 0 card full card combos and generic cards are more broken. otherwise is the idea behind both decks the same, 1 card combo +infinite handtraps
@yazanabbadi4247Ай бұрын
"both decks felt the same" is such a cope take.. yeah I know both are 1-card combo but snake-eyes are omega powerful with GY effs for follow-up, flameberge and field spell playing around Nib, insane OTK with Zea.. I don't think they're the same my friend

What comes next after modern yugioh with 30 hand traps and one card starters?
For real I know they have their own bells and whistles, but every modern deck just feels the same. It's all swarming into unbreakable negate boards + hand traps.

I bet you could just hide the deck names/art, just have the year displayed, and if you guessed the more recent deck would win you'd probably be right 80% of the time.
@ivicapavic3381Ай бұрын
You completely threw the match for Prank Kids with going into that DPE at the end instead of an omni.
@lucasemanuel5146Ай бұрын
To be fair any negate would meet imperma the same way soo, what's the difference?
@Latias38Ай бұрын
DPE was the correct play; mainly because he got to use TT to pop 2 backrow and end on another pop for disruption. Plus Celestial draw 2 for followup next turn. He couldnt even go for the omni anyways due to the continous spells, "search then discard," while he had no cards in hand. He was only able to gather a discard for TT by searching Dracoback, using the Token as link material.
@bdc129Ай бұрын
Bro really think an omni would be better than a free pop every turn + celestial draw 2 for follow-up
