राजनीतिक रणनीतिकार और जन सुराज अभियान के अध्यक्ष प्रशांत किशोर का कहना है कि लोकतंत्र में ऐसा कोई नेता नहीं जिसे हराया न जा सके, लेकिन मोदी को चुनौती देने के लिए INDIA गठबंधन का अस्तित्व एक साल पहले होना चाहिए था, अब देर हो चुकी है. प्रशांत किशोर इन दिनों बिहार के यात्रा पर हैं. इस यात्रा के दौरान बीबीसी संवाददाता जुबैर अहमद ने मधुबनी के एक गांव में प्रशांत किशोर से मुलाक़ात की. इंटरव्यू के पहले भाग में उन्होंने बिहार राज्य के सामने आने वाली चुनौतियों के बारे में बात की. इस आखिरी भाग में उन्होंने 2024 के आम चुनाव में मोदी को चुनौती देने के लिए विपक्ष के पास मौजूद विकल्पों पर चर्चा की.

I am from south india & don’t agree with him , he said BJP has major hindu votes but he forgets the biggest vote bank in the nation is minority especially two particular sections . Who will always vote against modi united while hindus never vote as Vote bank they have priorities like development, economy, price , caste blah blah ... they aren’t ever united on hindu ever like a two minority communities of india who care nothing beyond religion while they vote for 70 yrs consistently. So basically if modi wins his work has been credited.

@@preethishetty6179He didn't say majority of Hindus vote for BJP. He said majority of BJP's votes are that of Hindus. There's a difference. He himself has said that out of 100 people voting, 38 people voted for bjp in 2019 and 62 people didn't. And Hindus proportion is about 80%. So, in a way, apart from 20 non Hindus, at least 42 Hindus out of 80 aren't voting for Modi, that he himself has acknowledged in an indirect manner.

@@gaurav-hn5zd Naturally only hindus vote for BJP, but what i am disagreeing with is his claim they voted as hindu vote bank , but in reality they vote for various reasons like some are patriots - nationalist, hence for national centric idea of development, india’s growth , diplomacy, also majorly against corruption. Not even 5% hindu will vote in name of religion only for an anti - national govt which is corrupt & with poor leadership. Only becos BJP has credits to it in form of leadership & nationalistic view they have an upper hand , non appeasement & being not anti - hindu is just a bonus . While religious vote banks i have seen in this nation has a different pattern altogether that is nation comes second or sometimes doesn’t even matter but appeasement & religious cause takes over . For a hindu nation is motherland and it always comes ahead of religion- god , hence we proudly say vande maataram and view bharatha maata in form of goddess . While some sections simply deny BJP inspite of their credibility simply on religious grounds. This is where a hindu differs , if a hindu wasn’t secular india would have been hindu rastra a long time ago & BJP didn’t have to struggle for 70 yrs to even come to power. So that is my disagreement with PK who is refraining giving credit for good leadership in BJP & claiming hindutva only reason for success.

@@gaurav-hn5zd I totally disagree with PK. He's a seasoned thinker how could he say that in 2019 BJP got only 38% vote share so the remaining 62% vote against him. This claim is totally wrong. If 62% people wasn't voted for BJP then how BJP got above 300 seats? It's simple math. Our parliament have total 540 seats, if 62% total vote share goes against a particular party then it's impossible for that party to cross the 300 mark. That means the total remaining seats of loksabha (540-BJP) had a disproportionate vote shares. And that vote shares had different dynamics. That vote share was in fraction. That vote shares should never count as against one. So his claim of 62% voted against modi was totally misguided and wrong info.
