You didn't even stir the onions, so they brown evenly. 2) cooking prawns for 5 mins is going the Goodyear way; tyre rubber.

By adding Rama margarine to the boiling rice, wasn't the Rama wasted when the rice was drained ? Should it not have been added later with the steamed vegetables ?

5minutes to cook prawns does'nt sound correct as prawns are A Delicate MEAT. More like 2 minutes ON EITHER SIDE is appropriate to maintain TENDERNESS, MOISTURE, FLAVOUR AND TASTE. Prawns, scampi, mussels are delicate meats, cook too much, the meat gets stiff and lacks all the above. You want to maintain TENDERNESS and INTEGRITY of the meat IF it is Wildcaught as you will be paying a price. The flavours and taste is indeed different. For an Italian flavour, OMIT all these spices as mentioned in the video, use Robertsons italian DRIED herbs, tbsp PAPRIKA, cook with a good quality of extra virgin olive oil, it matters as you get the buttery types which makes food taste delishhh. Add a sprig of rosemary, onions, tomatoe puree, cook on medium heat till the water come up bubbling. Use fresh GARLIC cloves, TSP GINGER, Chillies split for a zing, few spring onions, if you like add a bunch; tablepoon mango chutney or fruit chutney or chilli chutney OPTIONAL. Spice according to the level of your choice. Italian food should'nt be overspiced nor hotly spiced. IF you like, use about 10 OLIVES to cook off towards the end as the braise off, garnish with finely chopped parsley and serve with spaghetti, basmati rice, roti, italian breads, pasta. With this recipe, you can add meatballs OR PRAWNS OR CHICKEN. ONE RECIPE, Enjoy! Ps. Follow the methods of how you would normally cook eg. Oil, braise onions, add garlic, chilli, ginger paste....I have not put this recipe in order, just from the top of my head, PRAWNS GO IN LAST. COOK for at least five minutes on LOW heat. Once its done, leave to cool so the flavours merge. If you like to prepare the prawns as in fry for 2 minutes, make sure to take it out and set aside, then add in the end to merge all the flavours. Nevertheless, it WILL TASTE SMACKING RESTAURANT GOOD!
