A neighbor is addicted to drugs and one day she was intoxicated and swerving around in her car. My wife was in a wheelchair going down the street on a sunny summer afternoon and this neighbor, who is filled with hatred for my wife because we have called law enforcement on her dealer, swerved down the street and almost ran my wife and her wheelchair over. My wife reported it to the police but there was no witness. My wife is now terrified to ride down the street in her wheelchair, which was something she did to bring her joy. It makes me very angry and my wife feels anger and we both know that it is the demons in this woman that are affecting her and us. We came upon her a few nights ago walking in the dark around the streets of our neighborhood, probably drunk because she was staggering. She came around the corner from behind a tree and I didn't see her until I was almost on top of her with my car. For a moment I was shocked because I could have run her down but I did not because it was her demons that were tempting me in my anger and fear. My wife and I both prayed then for release from her demons and that she and them would leave us alone. We are trying to pray for her too but it is very intimidating because her demons are very powerful and dark. We ask god that she has a healing and that Jesus bring her salvation. Her initials are MW. A study showed that the key to deep breathing is to exhale FULLY, squishing all the air out with the tummy muscles. It tells the body "The danger is over, you can relax now." It makes sense to me, because when we're afraid, we breathe shallowly and just in the chest, not deeply with the diaphragm.

My fear paralyses me from doing things that are ‘optional.’ But doing nothing as the bible says, leads to the enemy being allowed to torment your mind, St John Bosco and St Faustina both quoted the bible line; ‘The devil makes use of idle minds,’ if you are busy doing anything that is good, in normal circumstances this gives the enemy zero ground. This may be anything from a chore, hobby, reading, prayer, mass, adoration, exercise, gym, painting, drawing, writing, crafts, ringing a friend, going for a coffee, etc. anything that is good is ‘good.’ As the Book of Genesis says about the good things of the earth: ‘The Lord saw that what He had made was GOOD.’ Also it says: ‘It is not good for man to be alone.’ Spend time with people. Jesus washed the disciples feet. St Benedict didn’t want his hermits to be isolated from each other because then ‘whose feet would they wash?’ The following works for me, alternative day heavy weightlifting combined with alternative day fasting, while eating an organic vegan diet, a hobby daily, something social daily, fasting from internet use, and aiming for 8 hrs sleep nightly, while keeping the mind’s thoughts holy and uplifted at all times. (Sort of a multi-sided approach, St Hildegard wrote books about health and believed the body, mind, soul, and your relationship with your neighbours must all be in balance for God to bless you with health). Fr Chad Ripperger also recommends anyone who goes to him for prayer; to do a complete fast from internet. (Definitely it can be harmful for mental health and spiritual health if it is consuming time that should be spent for exercise / socialising / hobbies/ rest / work).

I feel like my daughter is being abused by her spouse and they just had a baby daughter last year. I live far from them so I don’t see what is going on and she defends him when I see odd things happening. I’ve witnessed verbal abuse, alcoholism, and he even takes steroids. I do my rosary every day for them but my heart feels like it’s being stabbed daily. Sometimes I feel like I can’t go on because I’ve seen too many signs. I am overwhelmed with pain I can’t sleep work has become difficult because I can’t sleep. My pain is so great that I do not wish to go on in life. I am not suicidal however I don’t want to be here anymore. I have suffered abuse in my life and I would rather relive it a thousand times than to see my child being hurt and I hopeless unable to do anything. I can’t breathe and yet I’m still here. How can I take away this fear that something is going to happen to my daughter and granddaughter? I live and sleep in prayer but the pain is too great. Help me Lord Jesus

I have been afflicted by fear passed down from my mother since childhood. Only recently was I aware and able to cast out these demons, and also quieting racing thoughts. Well not me, but using the name of Jesus.I also have really cut down I drinking, not completely yet but every week Im doing better.
