I was inspired by @thesisteritaclub7744 I think the Prayer Bible is a fantastic idea and wanted to make one of my own.

I am enjoying watching so many ladies that have jumped on the bandwagon on creating prayer Bibles. I think this will also be a fun and useful project for small/life group at church. I had shared a link to a sister that is discipling me and she said it's funny how God had us both watching the same video and then I bring it up. We are going to discuss it with the rest of the ladies and set up a time so we can fellowship and work on our prayer Bibles. Tfs. God bless.

I’m using those same tabs in my compact Bible and am glad to see that someone else is cutting them. LOL. I’m actually cutting mine into thirds and cutting the tab part down so it aligns closer to the cover of the Bible. I decided to do this to try and avoid damage when I put the Bible in a bag. Actually looking for a cover/case to put it in but haven’t found one yet.

I just bought one of these today, exactly the same except NKJV! I'm in New Zealand and have just found this idea, so keen to start and here you are, quite by accident! Praise God.

I have the large Bible. I would like to have the small compact size. This smaller size would be best for traveling on vacation or what ever or where ever you go. Thank you for comparison.

Amen sister! I saw this too, and have started one also. Great way to pray, and memorize scripture! I watched someone last night who also followed up by sending their friend a note as well, writing out the scripture that was prayed….that way the friend has the scripture to pray as well.

You can put post notes with lines in the back of your Bible and the. Record it in a notebook later.

@@FaithfullyBound I did it for the 1st time!! I simply asked someone on my outing could I show them a page in my Bible…flipped it to Isaiah & said the passage & then prayed it for a soon to be Daddy!! Got to bless the baby that’s coming & bind the enemy from any troubles!!🥰

I color coordinated my tabs and verses that I highlighted with the same color. Example: Love was all red/pink. Specific Prayers for Granddaughters were their favorite colors.

Great Video with Great Tips & Ideas!!! Your voice is so calm & you have a sweet heart! You simplified the prayer bible idea/outreach bible by getting needed subjects & verses from the back of your bible & you cut the tabs, keeping it simple but it will powerful & attractive for an outreach bible. I do like to make things as easy as I can :-) I feel that sometimes people make things seem too complicated and it scares others away because they think they cannot do it. Thank you so much for watching

You can write in both of them if there is room. You can also highlight. It’s always good to have a notebook to write things you w learned or things you want to remind yourself to look into further.

I’m curious and maybe I missed it, why are some tabs on the top/bottom as apposed to the sides? Was that intentional or just random?

I bought the biomarkers you are discussing. I live in NW FL and they tend to melt and caused the pages to meld together. I really like them but not able to use them here. God bless.

I use a microfiber cloth. I barely dampen one end and rub the cover and then go back over it with the dry end.

I was in Ollie's Outlet yesterday and they did not have any left. They had a few tan and some purple ones. I checked Amazon but did not see them. You do need to use a bare Bible for witnessing to Muslims, however. Adding any writing or decoration is considered to be offensive to God and a sinful deed, as far as I know. It's defacing God's Word, ditto putting a Bible or Holy book on the ground or handling it roughly. The Koran is always stored up high, above all other books. Thus shouldn't we be even more zealous for God's Word?

True but the main purpose of creating a prayer Bible is not witnessing. The main use is as a prayer aid.

In Deuteronomy 17:18-20 a king is commanded to write his own copy of Gods word. & God encourages people to write. Also, it’s not a sin as long as you’re not crossing the words out and writing your own. I’m sure God isn’t angry about people spreading his word and emphasizing parts of the Bible.

@@WAVYCEDid you read why it would not witness to Muslims? Yes, for us we find no fault with it but they are taught from an early age that sacret texts are sacred and to them it is defacing God's word.
