You give up the one thing that you need most or something of importance (a lot of people do food, or/and water, some do television, social media, or all things if you feel like that's been taking up your time). It's also a time for you to spend the rest of that time doing that but instead with God/Jesus/Holy Spirit. Fasting, according to scripture, humbles and afflicts our soul (Psalm. 35:13; Isaiah. 58:3, 5), enabling us to prioritize and operate in the Spirit rather than our flesh. Fasting helps you get right with God if you use your fast to humble yourself, mourn, and turn to God (Joel 2:12-13).

@@ElJr_C fasting is setting aside food and drink for at least a day and a night. But one needs to drink plenty of water. If you are addicted to coffee allow yourself a cup of coffee because the headache that you get from the withdrawal will be painful and ruin your moments of prayer. Go about your day and at certain times your heart will desire to call out to the Lord. Just wake up and don’t eat. Then at lunch you think I’m on the road and I’ll wait until dinner , then at dinner think it’s almost night and at night think time to brush my teeth and climb into bed and then say thank you Lord for this day

I listened to this soo many times and with a broken heart on the night my bf broke up with me. I promised that I'll come back to testify if it worked and we got back together. Well, he messaged me the very next day and we've talked things over and are back together!! Indeed,prayer works.

I hope God will do the same for me. My husband said it's over and do not love me anymore. He decided separation and seeing other woman, filling the divorce and yesterday he went to see lawyer to draft the settlement. I really hoping God will do the restoration for our marriage. Thanks for sharing.

This worked for me. My ex said she was not in love with me anymore and said that she wanted me out of her life. She wanted no contact. I prayed and prayed that she would hear God's words through my prayer. After about 2 weeks of pure pain, she finally called me and explained that she misses me. I'm positive that my prayers have been answered. Thank you God.

Same thing happened to me. My spouse did the same thing out of the blue. Said I love you but not in love anymore. I been praying and have repented of everything. Today I was on the fence of quitting because I thought maybe it was not God's will. But the word says he is a restorer and its his will and that if we ask anything according to his will it is given. I am done doubting and wavering.

I was praying for a relationship where my boyfriend is unsure about me, he makes me feel love but is scared to accept me as a life partner. He is confused and diverting towards his previous relationship. I was lonely seeing no text from him. While I was praying now, I saw a text from him, which made me happy... Praise the lord! I have prayed this prayer many times before. Most of 2021. The person I prayed this prayer for came back to me, We had a wonderful coming back together . As time passed I let God slip away from the relationship and I stopped praying, or counting on Him in times of need in the relationship. He broke up with me on Thanksgiving of this year (2023) Telling me he can't do this anymore and no longer loves me, and hasn't for sometime . My heart is worse than ever before. So I find myself here once again knowing and realizing I always need to keep God #1. My heart is shattered and I feel gutted to the core. I am so lost, but trying to do my best to trust God and his process. My every waking moment is him, and my dreams are him. Please pray for me

@@33171lexus I pray God gives u healing, hope, clarity and most of all, peace! Its a rough road ahead, but nothing we can't do without God! Just keep praying and dont give in to the devils little tricks, his mind games and negative thought patterns. Rebuke anything negative out of your mind and life! Praise God and fast if you feel led. I prayed I prayed I thought god was distant sure enough we had become better people it was agony knowing only uncertainty but the end results were worth it ! I have nowhere else to turn but you, Heavenly Father. It’s been two months and I miss my girlfriend so much. We were/are still perfect for each other in every way. For nine months I've been praying for my ex fiance. Out of the blue she called off our wedding and things constantly got worse. (Me trying in the flesh.) It's seemed the more I've prayed the more resistance I've had. I really have deepened my relationship with God though. I've had confirmation after confirmation to not give up, and to press on because it will be worth the pain. I know a breakthrough is coming.

The pain will go away eventually. Took over 6 months for me. But it will go away. You will heal with time and prayers. It's hard, but it is not the end. May God restore your relationship, and if not may you be given the strength to get though it and know that there is someone better out there for you. 🙏❤️

My girlfriend of 5 and a half years left me last month and any attempts from me personally to restore the relationship clearly didn’t work. We haven’t had contact for about a week now. The pain still feels unbearable from time to time, yet praying and not attempting to be in control of my own faith truly gives me strength and insight I’ve never seen in myself before. Trusting in God and in His will isn’t always easy as I’ve felt many times that I was giving up on her, although whatever the outcome might be, I’m pretty sure I’ll be walking out of this situation with more strength. My prayers go out to all of you who might be in a similar situation as it isn’t easy. I’d also like to ask of you reading this to pray for me aswel. Let’s trust in God as He has great plans for each and every one of us

It’s like this was sent straight to me, down to the 2nd or 3rd time I’ve been abandoned! It’s so hard to hand over complete control when you want to fix things and be together. Had a break up last year in February month and since then my heart is so torn and broken. I have stopped crying now at least but due to shocked I got after being broken so bad, I get anxiety , panic attack , i feel my stomach sinking and feel very restless. I came on here for a prayer to heal and restore me. Self hep isn't enough clearly so I need a prayer, a real healing from our only God.

I am in awe of God!! I just finished praying about my broken relationship and was so broken, in pain and frustrated. Right after I opened up KZfaq and this video popped up on my main page, first video in the feed. I have never even been on this channel before so the video popping up was out of nowhere. It is literally God speaking in answer to my prayer. Thank you God!! And thank you Restoring Relationships for your words of encouragement, ministry and this prayer, it was on time!!! What you have said brother is what God has been uncovering and revealing to me over a period time. (A time where I began to be honest with myself and God and make some uncomfortable decisions for the better). Jeremiah 17:5-8 was a turning point in my life and I constantly have to be reminded to depend on the Holy Spirit. Not to place my hope or confidence in mere man (including myself). Also, the temptation comes to take matters into my own hands, God, in His grace and unfailing love, patiently shows me the way out, leading me to intercession (to stand in the gap) for them. - and what God has taught me is that prayer will not only change them but it would change me as well. And finally, God has given me the assurance that His way is the best way. Although, it’s so uncomfortable and challenging, causing me to suffer, it’s going to be worth it.

I have recently split up with my partner, she’s a God fearing woman but whilst I was with her I lost touch with God. Thank you for this prayer and please continue with more worship for us! I said this prayer last night with you, and God spoke to my partner last night. He told me he felt God opened his heart and made him see the wrong he was doing to us. I was fixing to leave this relationship and was broken, we both were. Wow... Saundra Dodson Please pray for me miss. The love of my life left me about 3 weeks ago. His grandpa died and they were very close. He rambled on about how his grandma is now without his grandpa. And he brought up how his mom moved on after his dad died. He said he no longer believes in love or relationships/marriage because someone is going to die first and be forgotten... He said holding down a relationship and the passing of his grandfather impacted him terribly and he hasn’t been performing well at work. I truly believed in him and me. I thought we were so in love and so strong willed. It’s not just a Long Distance Relationship, it’s International,and Military. I’m from NYC and he’s from England, and he’s in the British Royal Navy. I met him when I went to School in the UK. There was nothing wrong in our relationship. We were perfectly happy. We thought God had answered our prayers when we met...We were supposed to get married soon too. But he canceled the wedding...... I understand we all get differently. He wants his space. But all I wanted to do was light his way in his time of mourning... I don’t understand why he abandoned me when all I did was support him and love him unconditionally...... Please pray for us.

God puts people in and out of our life for a reason...season or lifetime. Unanswered prayers are not unanswered at all. We must follow God first and God will take care of his children. You can't make people do things they don't want to do...nor change them. If it is meant for you both to be together, it will happen or not. You go and be you in your life, let him figure out what he wants. Don't put your life on hold and live life..we only have one. I will pray for you both and best wishes.

I really want TP back in my life in whatever capacity you want him to be Lord. I'm not praying for our friendship to be restored to it's original state and I don't want to pick up where we left off. I'm praying for the opportunity to reintroduce myself and start afresh in a new friendship with TP where we have a new and different but better understanding of each other.
