I love your hearts and vision for the church becoming a praying church. As a director of a local house of prayer here in Massachusetts this is what we are laboring for. But the reason God has called me to birth a house of prayer separate from the church is because the churches and pastor in my region don’t have a desire to sow into day and night prayer, let alone work together. So when you say that those doing para HOP is not healthy and you view it as a form of elitism, I think your out of touch of where the church is, and are forgetting that the prayer movement is a forerunner ministry that is preparing and the church forJesus’ return! My question is, those of us who are laboring in houses of prayer, are we supposed to just stop and wait for the church to start praying? is that the healthy thing to do? Just for context I’m a 2021 graduate of IHOPKC and Cory was one of my teachers that contributed to me being called into the prayer movement and starting a house of prayer.

I think its about a timeline of how the Holy Spirit is moving this forward. Houses of prayer separate from church (two institutional realities) has served its time and purpose. We are shifting out of a dead institutional wineskin into an ecclesia who simply is, like a living being, a house of prayer. It's a shift in wineskin. Its an ecclesia that is a praying family of God.

@@aletteanne1 I agree with what your saying, and really like how you categorized this as new wine skins, this is what most houses of prayer are laboring for and that’s why I think they are so important because most of the American church doesn’t even value prayer! How is the church going to all of a sudden start leading prayer with out a movement of forerunners laboring in this work?
