At around 4:30 PM, the Hicksville and Levittown Fire Departments were both toned out for an MVA at Spindle Road and Jerusalem Avenue. NCPD arrived on scene and spotted a motorcyclist, who had been struck, was pinned underneath a vehicle. Chiefs from both departments arrived simultaneously and assisted in the efforts to extricate the motorcyclist. Levittown ladder 621 was the first due truck, arriving alongside 628, 625 and 626. Hicksville ladder 931, engine 932 and other EMS units were also on scene. The victim is expected to remain alive. Units were up within 30 minutes.
