As a child, Christian Sundberg remembered his existence before coming to earth. While that memory completely left him in his early adult life, it spontaneously returned at the age of 30 through meditation practice and a personal awakening journey. He also began to have Out of Body Experiences (OBEs). Christian is author of A Walk in the Physical: Understanding the Human Experience Within the Larger Spiritual Context. His website is awalkinthephysical.com.
Christian describes his pre-birth memories choosing to come to earth with the help of his guides. He shares that consciousness transcends form and gives rise to form. The contrast of this level of separation enables an incredible opportunity for expansion of love and joy. We have the power to choose to meet great difficulties with love instead of fear and heal our lives where there is not peace. It is the resistance to the context in life that can make it so painful. Our true nature is that we are beings of freedom, love, power, and joy.

Christian’s authenticity is amplified for me by his ability to find words for the ineffable that always resonate like distant memories.. I never sense a jangle of vanity or manipulation or over-reach in his story. He has given me a perspective on why we are here and the mystery of suffering and loneliness that I needed more than I recognized. He triggers tears of gratitude every time I hear him speak.

Brian Storm -- The following comment is NOT about Christian Sunberg, in particular. Nor is it meant to refute anything that Christian Sunberg claims. I have found his story very insightful. That said... I can't say, for sure, how faulty your "B.S. Meter" actually is...Or mine, for that matter. These programs (which I frequently watch and collect), for the most part, are a guessing game. From the moment the guest begins speaking, I'm watching every gesture, and listening to every word, to see if it lends legitimacy or if my B.S. Alarm is ready to go off. And I can't help but feel that anyone who isn't doing this is a fool. I'm glad that a lot of the people, who have experienced a "paranormal" event, wrote it down for Others to learn about. They've helped me a lot. But that doesn't mean that EVERYBODY has to write a book...or start a mediumship business, etc. My point is this: Ever since Dannion Brinkley wrote, "Saved By The Light", there's been a non-stop flow of "Fill-In-The-Blank By The Light" Books. And, overall, I'm glad that there has been. I used to be quite frightened of the thought of death, but these stories have gone a long way to eliminate this fear. I'm STILL very afraid of DYING...but not death, itself. Nevertheless, this subject matter (along with other un-provable experiences) brings out all the liars along with the Truth-Tellers. The liars are after money or, maybe, just some attention. The Truth-Tellers just wish to tell their story, and, perhaps, help someone if possible. And we're left to decide if what we're listening to is true. I'm certain that I've watched or read over a hundred (maybe two hundred) of these testimonies, and I've yet to hear an interviewer call a guest out on their story. And, yet, you just know that, at least SOMETIMES, the show's M.C. or presenter doesn't believe what the guest is saying. But, out of respect and politeness, they never, ever outright contradict the guest. So, all I can say, Brian, is keep your meter tuned up! Take Care & Be Well!

@@Newton14alan My reply was so long, that youtube won't allow it. That's never happened before...actually it has, once. I think it was around 9 or 10 long paragraphs detailing my understanding of the difference between cognitive evaluation and pure subconscious information (BS Meter). Now my brain and fingers are tired, but I'll try to come back and shorten my response. Needless to say, you've struck upon a topic that I could very literally write a book about.

@@MrBeatvox Hey Sergio, I replied to your comment, but it was apparently deleted because I included my Proton email address. I don't mind detailing my NDE for you, but you should know that it's a very, very long story, and each part is so important for future consideration, that I can't bring myself to leave any detail out. I really need to type up my story and save it, because this would probably be the 10th time I will have retold it. Here's my issues... given the length, youtube may very well not allow me to post the reply. I just replied to someone just now with about 10 lengthy paragraphs and wasn't allowed to post it. Also, I use a keyboard (I type around 120 WPM), and one wrong keystroke could delete my entire response, as youtube does not "save as you go." My last attempt to respond was deleted because I left you my email address and invited you to drop a simple hello, and my reply back would be my story. Now, I'm not sure how to leave my email for you (I did the whole "dot com" domain ending to avoid the filters, which apparently is no longer sufficient) - Any ideas? I don't have any social media accounts. I do have Telegram and WhatsApp. If you're comfortable with this, let me know and I'll be happy to send you a detailed report of my NDE. If not, I certainly understand. Telegram: @BriFi_Storm Whatsapp: BriFi Storm

@Brian Storm @Brian Storm I type stupid-long thoughts on Android. I have what you might call a protocol now for dealing with spam/auto-moderation filters, length, and stupid quirks of the app. Most importantly though, always take a big old clipboard copy (ctrl-v/) of your work before posting, or after some time or length, or at other intervals. Always before you post though. See I was gonna post this an hour ago but got interrupted, forgot what I was gonna say, but I'll just say this anyway. Auto moderation is the worst. After you post, refresh to see if it got flagged, edit words that seem controversial, "phone numbers", web page lookin things, etc and try again Good Luck!

@@bunnylarese2161 i’m not sure when the memory exactly came to me as an adult one day it was just there. I have meditated in the past I was able to open my crown chakra. Maybe that is what led to recalling. But it wasn’t an immediate effect of meditation; one day the memory was just there.

I have often felt as though we were here to learn, like this was simply a school to help us grow. Even as a child I always felt a little disjointed from my physical form, like I was perceiving my life from inside a suit. I never understood why I felt that way. Thanks for describing our state here in a way that I truly understood. The soul interacts with the body like a puppeteer pulling the strings on a doll, a very refined doll, but it is still just a shell waiting to be imbued with essence.

I am so pleased that Christian recalled this memory, but more so that he has shared this with all of us. There are folks who do not have these types of memories, but we all need to keep open minds, which are like butterfly nets. Keep those nets open, so that you too may have your own interesting self- discovery. These are the things which keep life fascinating, and which increase the borders of your mind. The doors of perception work best when they are not closed and locked.

I love that guy! I have watched every interview of him, and it is hard to overstate how incredibly consistent he has been in retelling his experience and his message. You can just feel the honesty. I do have one question that no spiritual book/video/teacher has been able to answer though: They all say it's all about spiritual "growth". Is spiritual growth mandatory? Why is it important? If we are all God, why would we even need to "grow"? Can one just decide to stop?
@kt9495
@kt9495 Жыл бұрын
He touched on it when he spoke about expansion. I had a kind of realization a few years back which resonates with his experience. If we’re all light and energy, as is Source, or God, then the way to infinity is expansion. It almost seems too simple but it fits for me.
@balecalduin1993
@balecalduin1993 Жыл бұрын
@@kt9495 Yeah but why? Why is this necessary? Is it even necessary? Is it optional? The initial physical being he mentions seems to indicate that it's just optional. We do suffer a lot here. So I need to know if growth/expansion is the only name of the game
@AWalkinthePhysical
@AWalkinthePhysical Жыл бұрын
Thank you for your kindness! Just a brief comment to your question: Nothing is required of us. There is nothing that the soul "needs" to do; "need" is a human idea. But meanwhile, the evolution of consciousness is the expansion of love and joy, and love and joy are wonderful- so we choose to do it! I feel that is the simplest way to put it. To add a few more potentially unnecessary words: As creative and immortal beings of great joy and without limitation, we are curious, and bold in our desire to express and expand our true nature, and to add to What Is, and so we choose to incarnate, or to participate in other "growth activities." (The physical incarnation cycle may be very "long" from our point of view, but it is not indefinite, we do not necessarily choose to continue it forever. Meanwhile, evolution itself- the increasing refinement of Being and expansion of love and joy- is ever continuing, even if in other forms.) Put another way: We ARE the ocean (part of God), so if there is to be expansion of All That Is (something and not nothing) and a refinement of joy and love, then we actually need to do it/ actually need to get our feet wet and experience things first hand, and make our own free willed choices, and evolve the quality of those choices past fear and towards love. If I haven't commented on the specific angle of your question please let me know! :)

Is it permitted to express doubt? When the stories are so detailed, yet also very straightforward, when everything fits together in ways that we can easily understand, it doesn't sound plausible to me. My own sense is that the universe is a lot more bizarre than this. I'm not a materialist and believe in psychic phenomena, as well as a kind of destiny, but if I simply believed every person's stories, there wouldn't be much place for a mind of my own, would there? All that I have is my intuition. I'm not denying his experience, which is probably quite real for him, just questioning what relevance it has to my own.

I have the same experience and the same kind of memories.. in fact, I came across this video because I was looking to see if anyone else had the same memories or if it was something I had imagined.. I've had these memories since I was a young child though. Before my mind would have had the capability to create such a vivid, strong image.. I told my mother about these memories long before I can remember.. apparenrly I've been telling her this since I was first able to express myself through words.. I dont remember anything from being a young child,like most people, but I remember choosing certain things that would be part of my individual voyage, and i remember leaving this place, referred to in jewish lore as "the guff" and that's it until i was old enough to start forming long term memories..

I don’t believe in past lives. I think when we remember past lives we are actually tapping into the memories of our ancestors. The furthest pre birth memories I can tap into is fear about coming here. I knew the blueprint of my life and the struggles I would have and I didn’t know if I could do it. I was very apprehensive, it was scary. I didn’t want to or necessarily choose to experience these challenges, it was more like I was willing to and this body was a match for me and was available. It’s sort of felt like being recruited.

To help dissolve fear I often work with grounding crystals on the root chakra. Midnight Lemurian jade is a mix of black jade with quartz and pyrite. It feels very feminine, tender and loving. You energetically feel like your being craddled in a pair of loving arms. Brown calcite (often called chocolate, coffee or coke) feels extremely rejuvenating and calming. I like the dark brown version. I put it on my root chakra, but I feel energy down my legs and feet, which I consider as a sign of connection to the Earth star chakra. Natural black spinel is also good for relieving tension, fear and negativity. My energy feels clean and protected. Apparently it's connected to the hara line and helps to regulate kundalini flow. Garnet used to feel uncomfortable as it was undoing energy blockages. It mostly has to do with clearing anger and aggressivity from the system. It can bring out repressed anger, which is not always fun. It can make boundary issues more apparent. It took a lot of time for it to do this job and it wasn't pleasant. Now that many blockages have been cleared it makes me feel safe, protected and loved by a higher power. It feels tender and romantic. I think it clears fear related to conflict, aggression and violence. Sometimes the crystals makes you feel worse before making you feel better. It's usually because they are working on clearing energy blockages. They need to be energetically cleansed after use. Putting them next to selenite, or in a bed of salt can clear them of accumulated negativity. Crystals let me slowly burn away the layers which seem to separate me from my true nature. They put me in touch with the magic of life that got a bit drained by life's challenges. Life got greyer, but now the color hidden beneath is coming back for me to see and experience. It can be supportive on a spiritual path, but you still have to learn a few basics (like the importance of grounding.) It's totally still a work in progress for me, but it can be fun to explore.

This will help change the world & help your brothers & sisters. We remembered for a reason my friends! Checkout our project called Being Before the Veil!

While watching, I've been wondering if there's a possibly way to discern memories that are pre-life (meaning before you were alive in any form, even before birth) from memories during the stages before birth while one is still in some form alive. I've had such a memory, but cannot seem to know for sure as of now, when exactly the memory formed. Was it something from a truly past life, or does it simply seem that way because it happened so early that it was before the ability of forming memories was fully an ability to it's full extent?

hello, generally speaking if i feel or encounter some memory, and it doesn't feel like something from my life in this current form, i am generally willing to accept that it has something to do with your being before this lifetime, or a literal genetic ancestor, unless that impression would validate my ego in some way. Ask for more memories and they will come

If you've never read the Michael Newton books, they might interest you "Journey of Souls" is his first one, available in audio on KZfaq. Also, Brian Weiss's book, "Many Lives, Many Masters' discusses this subject to a degree. Reviews on Amazon can steer your decision, but I found them compelling enough to read multiple times. 🔭💫

@Black Lesbian Poet I share your skepticism. The idea of human existence being like a school for the soul's learning and growth is utterly contraindicated by the fact that almost no one can recall anything of other lives. Imagine if, every time you woke up from a night of sleep, you couldn't remember anything you'd learned the previous day. Clearly, in order for learning and growing to take place, there can't be a complete memory wipe and reset between one instantiation of life and the next. This doesn't mean any given instantiation of life is a "one and done" affair, as materialism holds. It might just mean that life is eternal (or eternally recurring) but doesn't have a cosmic purpose, *and doesn't need one.* In fact, each of our lives seems to bear this out completely: with no memory of having lived before, or of a "soul purpose," we all come to make whatever meaning of life we're drawn to make - including beliefs ranging from "life is random and meaningless" to "life is a school for the soul," and pretty much anything else.

@@_PL_ But the forgetting is only temporary and on this side of the veil. Each life is like a novel we must read and learn from. If we constantly have a thousand novels in our mind at once while reading we won't be truly absorbed in the one we're supposed to be concentrating on now. Dying is not going to sleep, it's lifting our eyes from the last sentence on the last page.

Regarding how in the higher realms, even though you are still having an experience, you feel the connection to everything..and therefore descending into this lower vibrational realm provides the unique opportunity to grow and refine your essence (since one feels so apart from everything else).. Wouldn't enlightenment then, where you realize your true-self, be counter-productive? i.e. you already knew your true nature *BEFORE* you came down, so wouldn't t it be cheating to realize it during this life, without doing whatever work you signed up for? Regarding how one sees the arch/probabilities your future life one earth will take.. how do plants/animals fit into this scheme? Does one negotiate (or get forced) to take on the life of a tree? And at what point after so many lives, does one lose the subtle/causal body, and your unique personal experience is no longer?
@AWalkinthePhysical
@AWalkinthePhysical Жыл бұрын
Regarding your first question about would enlightenment here be counter-productive: No, not counter-productive, because you are doing it from this vibrational location. Doing that "expands" the knowing and "truth of Being" even out THIS far, which is additive to love and joy and to All That Is. Regarding your second question, various life experiences are available if desired and beneficial- so some beings may experience being a tree, by choice, if they wish. (I've read that's a very restful state of being by comparison. :) ) Regarding your last question: I'm not sure what you are referring to regarding loss of the subtle body, but regarding "unique personal experience is no longer"- your experience is always unique and personal- you are always YOU. Individuation can be (is) known without separation. It's just that being "YOU" does not mean the forms of your life now that you think make you up- you aren't the character, you are the experiencer. The "you that feels like you to you" will experience engaging these forms now, and other forms "later," but it's always still "you." Meanwhile, the association with a given set of life packet forms will end at some point, but you will still be you. I hope that helps!

@EarInn
@EarInn Жыл бұрын
I understand what you mean. But I think we react that way because "fear" is so much a part of this life that we don't even know we have it. In meditation I once experienced something I can only refer to as a "space" that was characterized by a total absence of fear. It occurred as a result of my deeply questioning anger and resentment that I was feeling. I was suddenly in this incredibly joyous state, and I immediately understood that fear did not exist there. Right in the midst of the ordinary world, I was somehow in this bubble of joy and fearlessness. It lasted for about 20 minutes but the after effects remained with me for days. I felt calm and dauntless even in my then fraught workplace. Unfortunately I didn't maintain that state for long, but it taught me that something like that IS possible. And the lack of fear--whatever that is--is part of what defined it.

Odd this should pop up now. Recently I've been wondering about the concept of choosing one's time and place to experience life (pre-birth). I can't help but consider the enormous number of people just struggling to survive. How many are lacking basics like food and shelter? How about the child that dies from deprivation or abuse? Have all these souls signed up for these limitations? (Don't misread me. I'm happy to know of Mr Sundberg's journey and encouraged to know his book is free.)

I feel the answer is "yes." That may seem unacceptable to the human ego, but keep in mind we cannot judge the value of an experience based on "where it ends up" or "what is accomplishes" in human terms, or even "if suffering is more or less avoidable." Contexts of contrast are used as a tool. Meanwhile, despite the incredible consistency of the experience on Earth, the spirit fully transcends that "tool." Much lasting experiential growth is possible through contexts which from the human point of view may seem very limited. I hope that helps!

Everything that we love is real, because love is our true nature: our loving relationships with others, or our loving relationship with the world, can shine on. Meanwhile, the experience of the many forms of Earth is a real experience, but the forms themselves are not fundamental. We transcend the forms, use the forms, play with them and create with them and learn through them, but Beingness is much greater and more real than any given form or set of forms. Our true nature transcends the form, but utilizes it. I hope that helps! :)

What is the key take home in this life? Incredible opportunity, with so much power , healing, nothing to fear. Any circumstance “Can be a wonderful process”? Really? I believe the message is ridiculous and is just another game of selling hope… which really only occurs in the afterlife. ‘Expansion ‘ by experiencing life is for many, just pain or even without any creation or joy as in an aborted child.

Ultimately, you are not a soul though, so even if you know a lot of your lives, you're not those lives. Higher and lower states only apply to the individual, not who you really are, which is the Awareness of it all. All experiences come and go. Thinking you're a soul with many lives is a good step in your understanding if you previously thought you were just an individual with a single life that ends. We continue as individuals. However, don't get trapped here. You are not even the soul that has many lives. How could you be if you see it?

Love without fear is very attractive, because the concept is ridiculous on this earth. Why RIP? Because there is no peace on earth. So, It’s your choice of being is: Deprived, abused, disabled, tortured, have chronic pain or mental stress, psychosis, losing your family, having no family, serious degenerative physical and/ or mental decay. Inability to meditate because of incapacity. Sunberg is the only person I have ever heard of who conquered the vail by meditation. Given millions, billions meditate… he is unique. Questionable!
