The latest patch destroyed my framerate when I use OBS for the screen capture. I had it all sorted in patch 6, but it has reverted back :(

there kind of does need to be some explanation for the portals as when you first met gale he comments on them, he mentions how he believes they may be netherese and that one touch and transported along to the next, or something along those lines. i think you may be on to something with what they could be though

Hi Harbs! When you ask where Gale came from when you first meet him, he says that the portal is full of Netherese magic heavy with The Weave. Also I thought the letter about the Harpers' Cache was in regards to..... Spoiler... Spoiler... the 3 Mimics and one small chest you find in Grymforge that clearly belong to the Harpers once you deal with the Mimics.

Yeah these Gnomes were Netherese slaves. I don't belive Grymforge is a part of Moonrise Towers. Thanks for watching Suzanne :)

@@HarbsNarbs You're welcome. I was thinking that Grymforge might lead up to Moonrise Towers but you are more familiar with the geography than I am. When you mentioned the Gnomes being Netherese slaves I was so glad I had asked where Gale came from. I was like, Harbs is right!

@@Suzanne_sf I might still be wrong as it is a bit of a reach and Larian might not be using that Lore, but there could be a connection there (fingers crossed haha). Grymforge isn't under Moonrise Towers because Nere talks as if it is further away when he talks of 'The General' residing there.

Thank you for sharing your insight in this. :) I find it interesting to speculate in potential things that can occur BG3. Do we have a good, detailed interactive map over the River Chionthar, from Scornubel to Baldur's Gate?

Hi Chris, I have a link to a good map here: www.dndcombat.com/toril/ The river Chionthar is missing a few areas, but this is a very good map for the Forgotten Realms.

@@HarbsNarbs A very good map, indeed. Do we know of any more in detail of the possible game area? Where does BG3 start, when we know of Elturel and Anga Vled? Where would GrimForge be exiting? What other places of interests could the party stumble upon on the road to Baldur's Gate?
