Inspect your gas line and how it’s routed, I had one that was zip tied too tightly to a part of the motor and it eventually rubbed a hole in the line and my sled caught fire up in the mountains, always good to know you’re not leaking gas.

Learning so much from these videos. Keep them coming! As a new rider I'm finding myself stuck in tight places and unable to turn quickly or just to avoid going into obstacles. I'd love to see some beginner riding tips on just controlling the snowmobile in tight places on level ground with deeper snow.

Glad to see videos resume Dan. Ideas: Install a tether, check plugs, reset spring tension since springs were relaxed last springtime.

As always, nice job Dan! One other thing, checking ski alignment and the ski rubbers at the beginning of the season as well as periodically through the season.

Now that you mention it I would love to see a tutorial on how you setup fox air shock and how to efectivley tune to an individuals riding styles. Also a tutorial on ski alignment would be awesome. Just put a new full set of Evol 3's and a 36" front on and looking forward to seeing how the sled handles and rides differnetly than the stockers. Keep the awesome videos coming and would love to see you up in Revy sometime.

Nice video Dan. I have a turbo sled also. I replace both springs every yr. Cheap insurance. A couple things I also inspect and grease are the steering blocks. Inspect all steering hiem joints for play or seized up from the steering post to the spindles. check to make sure they are Tite., ski bolts and bushings. (Aqua shield). I use aqua shield to grease the skid also.. Repels water. Non conductive grease in all the electrical plugs. Inspect drive shaft for play. Inspect jack shaft bearings for play. Inspect hyfax wear. Inspect drivers for excessive wear,cracks or missing cogs. I'm sure I'm forgetting something.

Im a chic - I ride like a man (no joke ) but am embarrassed to say I dont know how to do any maintenance on my sled & I should...! I have a skidoo mxz tnt 600. NOT the etec. I would love somebody to make a basic video on how to clean my carbs. I did go & buy the carb cleaning solution to soak them in (similiar to a gallon on paint w the lid) . I take my sled in to a mechanic every year, for servicing preseason- but nobody seems to be open to teaching me how to clean / Adjust my carbs. Yes I summarize it after every season (fogging it, stabil in the fuel & fill the 2 grease serts) Also cleaning the Power/ rave or reed valves- I am hoping somebody can make a video on, also. Thank you. Also would be great to learn to pull my clutch myself for inspection & cleaning. I bought the proper clutch puller just gotta know next, what to do. Thank you guys for any help you could provide!

Where did you get the electric siphon? Also to add, bearing checks, track straightness, steering post grease, steering post cracks, ski saddle rubbers, spindle and saddle grease, Emry cloth is too aggressive for your sheaves. I suggest a scotch Brite at engine idle

Doing some mid season maintenance on my 14 Pro 155 due to a shoulder dislocation a couple weeks ago. I’m having some idle issues. After a minute or 2 of warming up my sled wants to die. Any suggestions helpful. I changed the spark plugs and it still does it. Thanks!

Loved the video I just got a 2017 axys , one question I have is how or what do you use to clean all in the engine area and under the hood ? The last idiot before me ran down a logging road got mud everywhere then it dried . I tried soap water but didn’t wanna pressure wash to close and didn’t wanna use harsh chemicals ? Any help be great .

Just curious and what pressures you run in those shocks? I'm doing research for a starting point on my new shocks
