Great to be young, talented and in great shape. Teatro Metropolitan is at 7400 feel elevation. How these sisters had so much energy for more than 90 minutes, is remarkable. Pau gets special mention for her hard pounding drums and being able to sing so well. This concert has become one of my all time favorite concert videos to watch, again and again.

@@MrsRealistic Here's a quote straight from Pau: " So Disciple is about social media and how opinions are bought on social media and are fed to us in a way that we don’t even know. And how by breeding ignorance and cultivating hate people gain a lot of power and money. So that’s what Disciple is about. I saw a lot of people confused with the video, like “why are you the system and you’re telling people to kill the system?”, well we’re not the system, we (the military characters in the music video) are someone who is buying your opinion without you even knowing about it. So Disciple was a whole process to write about, but I’m so happy with the song and it’s a topic I’m really passionate about, so go stream Disciple, go check it out, the video was so much fun to record and it’s a good song, it’s so much fun to play, I find it really funny that I’m saying that it’s a good song, it’s my song, but it was really one of my favorite songs to write, I put a lot of thought into it and Daniella and I worked relentlessly to get everything across, so glad people are enjoying it." - Paulina Villarreal

Re your comments about social media: I had an experience where I transferred from one phone company to another, which resulted in the vim(?) card they sent me not working. And since this was over the holidays during Covid, with very slow postal service and me having no tv or computer or even a music system in my home-which basically resulted in me having nothing but my books and my thoughts for ten whole days of isolation (as I live alone). No phone calls, no electronics of any kind. It was eye opening. Pretty painful at first, to be honest about it, but finally liberating!-as I got to know my own thoughts and my own feelings again. It was like saying hello to a long lost friend.

Imagine having daughters that play a video game and tell their parents that they want to do it for real. Then the father sells his beloved motorcycle to buy them real instruments and pay for lessons. oh, and the parents gradually leave their careers and devote all their time 'WORKING' for their kids. i get what you said about kids and social media(and i'm 79) yet it was just that social media which exposed The Warning, and, in the covid years , kept them in constant touch with their fans. "I, me, mine"
@MrsRealistic
@MrsRealistic Ай бұрын
There's social media that can spread positivity, you're right... but there's also the negative side, and the influences who just push plastic surgery, fake accounts that show off their lavish lifestyles, "fitness influencers" who have butt implants and their entire account is just shots of their behind...etc. It's got people comparing themselves to others, who probably aren't the real in the first place. This was something we weren't exposed to and it's showing negative effects on developing brains. There are no long term studies, because that generation IS the study. 😔

Great reaction and great comments Mrs. R.. You are speaking of what I already know as an older adult. These Ladies right here as "GenZer's" have been writing songs since they were Teens warning their generation as well as all of us of the dangers of Technology, government, Ai and all the BS being fed to us through social media and MSM. They are quite brilliant young Ladies besides their insurmountable talents and have a lot to say in what they write. This is not your "average" rock band, these Ladies are messengers for those that will listen, and this generation really needs to listen, not that mostly "crap" that the music industry assaults us with, but real artists in the industry who have something important to say.... sorry for the ramble, but your comments fired me up. Absolutely start reading the lyrics to what they write...it is important. Cheers, Stay well. Absolutely more Warning. Sending a "tip" to the tip jar.

Very nice perspective on the song, the band, the music, and of course the message! Huge props to you for keeping your kids off the eye-bleedin' screens. I appreciate that! I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that we home school, and they aren't around the peer pressure of it in their faces, literally, all day while at school. There are so many kids who's parents just give them carte blanche to the internet and it's ruining them! We take it seriously. If adults can get addicted to social media, just think how bad it is for a developing brain! I'm not perfect in any sense...but I want my kids to be KIDS as long as possible!

The dynamics and hooks are their trademark. Ale's bass is pulling the train whenever Dany isn't playing. Often half the song or more. And she makes it look easy. While singing her parts. Dany keeps developing her range and power when shes already the absolute BOSS on the mic, a master at the guitar, and a superstar on stage. And powerhouse Pau is from another planet. Singing huge belts or screaming at the ceiling while assaulting the drums, for a 20+ song set. Find another 3-person band with 15 people worth of talent, passion, energy, and creativity.

Oh, how I thank you and Gerald Eff. I think that we all just relish the moments when a person is loving what we ourselves love. I think that I mentioned this in one other comment, noting your wisdom. My discernment is that you are doing what's in their best interests. If they don't appreciate it and respect it now, give it time to marinate a little because they will thank you and respect you down the road. As parents, I think that is maybe that's about all that we can do, and that will be passed on to the grandchildren. Again, thanks for the reaction.

Thank you! I think because we home school they don't have the pressure of random kids who tease them for not having what they have... but our kids know exactly why and we talk to them about the dangers of social media and online predators. We have neighbors whose kids have had a smart phone with zero parental controls or blocks since they were 12 or 13. I can only imagine what they've seen online. They're literally walking home from school looking down at their phones.

Great reaction !!! Agree in all counts! There is too much BS in this world right now, and I absolutely LOVE the mindset of these ladies. Let me share my favorite quote here : "In order to be honest, you have to be prepared to be offencive"! IF Somebody asked me a question, my answer is: "do you want an honest answer, or pretty answer?" Because my honest answer may not be pretty 😉. Basically I let people choose, and at the same time I know what kind of person I am faceing . Ok. enough ranting😁. Great song from future Rock Legends "The Warning" !!!! ⚡Viva la WARNING⚡ NWSU/FloorFan/Epican/Ayreonaut/TWA 🤘😎🤘

Haha! Exactly! When people say "That's OFFENSIVE!" I'm like "No, you CHOSE to be offended... because someone else WON'T be," Nothing is inherently offensive. And you'll never please everyone ALL of the time. 😆

These woman have entered the picture when we need them most. Divine Providence comes to mind. (Maybe a little over the top in my feels, but you know they do make a lot of good points in their lyrics). You bring those points to light in your wonderful analysis. TY.

You're so right about the younger generation and their obsession with smart phones. I used to work in a state prison. No cell phones allowed inside the facility. We couldn't keep correctional officers under the age of 30 or so once they realized that they were going to be without their phones for 12-16 hours at a time.

OMG, that's pathetic! If adults are that addicted, what hope do young kids have to break free once they're addicted?!

Very astute reaction! One of their best songs, one of the very first ones I came across. Also, this song is a kinda litmus test for reactors, a number of which can’t quite get what the message is in this song and what TW meant by it. It certainly lines up with their band name. A great reaction, once again, Mrs.R. You’re a breath of fresh air.
