Every generation needs a fresh encounter with God. Just like the Israelites, a generation would see the hand of God move, then another generation would arise, not encounter God like the generation past and would end up in captivity. This cycle would happen over and over again and its not much different from Christians today. We have heard the stories of the Great Awakening in the 1700's, the Welsh revival & Azuza street revival. However, God is not a God of back then, He is a God of the now! God is not finished with our generation. Hebrews 13:8 states that Jesus Christ the same, yesterday, today and forevermore!

I consider it a farmers song, going to sleep sore and waking sore and it takes an hour to stand up straight. 💜🫡.

Lyrics from the playbook of Exodus when the Israelites were in Egypt: "when the cry of the children of Yisra'el has come to Me. Moreover I have seen the oppression with which the rulers oppress them." It sounds perhaps strange but I have been looking out for this. Oliver Anthony has just set the cry free and he is speaking for oppressed people worldwide. I myself am Dutch and have four children. Young adults. I see one future for them. Being enslaved with no chance of starting a family. When I saw that I realized if there is a GOD he will come into action for now they are touching the core of His Soul denying Him His family. Don't forget the first blessing people (Adam/Eve) received from Him is multiply. This is for sure not without reason. JAH is building a family. The prelude for heavy weather is here.

He turned his life over to God and stopped drinking. Then this song took off. He reads the Bible before he sings at concerts. God can use anyone for Good. Be blessed in your days.
