Yeah RIP Steve. That was a death that hit pretty hard for me, I remember reflecting back on all his work when I heard the news. I remember he did some art on Jason Aaron’s Incredible Hulk, which did not fit at all. But Preacher and Punisher is where he shined.

Want to share some behind the scenes thoughts on the length of my Preacher videos. The reason they are all long is because all Preacher volumes are like 8-10 issues, whereas most of the past series I covered (Invincible, Y the last man, Jupiter’s Legacy) were around 5-6 issues each volume. I honestly find Preacher super annoying with its length of each volume. It’s such a bigger lift weekly than I’m used to. I have an editor I work with now, without him, no way would I have been able to do this series weekly without going insane. But every week we both complain to each other about the length, and how we wish it was less than an hour, but it’s manageable. I could split more volumes in two like I did for Preacher Volume 2, but I try not to do that if I can. I just finished recording the audio for Volume 7, it’s freakin 90 minutes!! 😳 Volume 7 is one of my favorite Preacher volumes tho.

crisan anca very hard obviously! Although Season 3 was almost accurate to the comic, plus Jodie, T.C. and Grandma L’angelle was one of my favorite parts of the story.

I don't want to come off as anyone credible as i watched the show before danny covered the comic but I don't see any vastly criminal changes. Like besides the saint vs tanks most of these storylines are intact but out of order. I don't understand why preacher is seen as bad as say GOT final season to some people. Of course I do see parts that are different and would be cool to be adapted but starr's character is funnier in the show Cassidy is more relatable in the show and Hitler and Eugene's story is interesting to me.

@@alotofpplz3696 the way they adapted the story is why most fans look at it like the GOT finale. The comment above mentioned that season 3 was a bit more accurate but even then it actually wasnt that accurate and I'm not saying it needed to be to be good. The show was just done subpar. If I'd rather read it than watch it that's a problem. But I also enjoy the show, I'd rewatch it but my choice between the show and reading thick ass comic books......... id buy the comics and read them instead.

I’ve watched EVERY single one of your long videos and some of them twice!! I’ve seen the boys twice and Invincible three times. I love the way you break it down. Please keep it going and MAYBE do Sandman next? I have been dying to listen to it. I recently got American Gods by Neil Gaimen and it was an amazing book so anything by him would be amazing

Emperor G it’s not next. But I finally sat down and read volume 1 right now, after getting a few comments about it. It’s decent, the hyper violent gore is fun. Maybe one day I’ll go through them.

Alot of the things in this comic make no sense like how on earth would someone like Arseface be loved like that and end up being some famous and rich singer ? He cant talk properly people cant understand him when he speaks so when he sings what do people like about his voice ? I dont get it

I know! I really like that - Ennis has managed to make me like Cassidy, understand his failings and how he's run from them all these years, and understand how his friendships have soured. Hopefully, him and Jesse (and Tulip with her sharpshooting) can settle this - Texas style!

The Boys Dear Becky miniseries will have it’s final issue soon, so will finish that off. Then I’m planning on doing a few one-off videos, to get some variety. And then next long term series is going to be Criminal (Ed Brubaker) and then I think Sandman (Neil Gaiman). Order may change.

I have nothing against manga, but I don’t cover Manga, because I don’t really read Manga, and I’m not an expert on it. Whereas with Western comics I have a pretty good grasp of what the best most popular books are over the last few decades, and I try to keep up on all the new stuff too. Also I think Manga companies are more strict on KZfaq, a channel called Mangastorian got shut down years ago, whereas it’s sister channel Comicstorian has been going on for years unaffected. I think it’s a shame too, because if a channel like Mangastorian did exist today, it might be easier for more people to be exposed and to discover more Manga.

Lobo, Rayner, Green Lantern, Batman hated Tommy so much he didn't even bother with him. Damian sneaking out to the Cauldron and seeing why Father tells him to NEVER engage Tommy. Don't know if you ever caught it, but the Harley Quinn HBO Max show, is unbelievably raunchy. I can't believe WB and DC signed off on it, it's not bad either.
