I've actually been in an IRL guild with at least one of my characters since early early BC. 50% of them were irls with eachother from another town, and 50% were my irls, we went to the same school etc. And have played together for at least a bit in every expansion since then, always fun! I guess it works better since everyone is 20+ and isnt that serious any more, more for fun

The IRL guild reminds me of my first guild in WoD. First raid night she yelled at the tank for ready checking because SHES the RL and only SHE can ready check. Next night she said "Guys, we need to be pulling faster, lets get a ready check out and lets do this". My friend and I may have blown the guild up.... and it may have ended in me blowing up on her in vent because she told the guild "We are too hardcore for them, we don't need them". Meanwhile I was more progressed in PuGs being 3/7 normal (this was week one of Highmaul).

Used to share my account with my neighbour and nothing bad came out of it, if he had homework to do I would do hi raids, in return he would farm gold on my account and it all worked out fine, but I agree youshouldnt share your account with anyone, I was lucky to have a good friend that i could trust

I ran a RL friends guild, didnt actually have any drama events break it up, just didn't have enough ppl to keep raiding since there were only 8 of us.

My guild downed Bladefist first try and whipped a bunched on Butcher but got it that night too...

That first story is pretty much the placeholder story for 90% of Moon Guard guilds. Waded through 3-5 different shitters that wanted to organize "Guild LFR runs" with 5-7 people, all decked out in honor gear of course, before I stopped playing.

I had a guild that was nearly as bad as that IRL friends guild (I quit it but that is not the point here) and the guild leader was the raid leader and he said that any raiders who don't follow his orders will be kicked from the guild. BTW that leader's idea for every fight was to charge without paying attention to mechanics but me and my friend get lots of jokes from our stupider memories of being in that guild (So much stupid stuff). To tell how bad things got let me say this half our raid team had legendary cloaks in SoO and flex Immerseus would kill us over and over. Also a bunch of other stuff i could go into but i think this is long enough for a comment.

Respecting another human is respecting their opinion even if you don't agree with it. Granted it might be insensitive to some people but honestly? It's not worth letting it bother you too much. Have some juice, play some wow, relax. If you don't like what the man has to say, don't listen. But don't crucify his opinion. It's not like he's physically harming anyone. EDIT: Also, check the context of it. From how it was explained in the video, it sounds like a male just said he was a female in vent. I am trans and I am not offended by the joke about the person using a non-passing voice and making outlandish claims. To anyone who is mad about it, there are both better ways to express it and more important arenas for your fight. If the SJW crowd wants to actually help those they claim to fight for they should stick to bigger fights, like Employment and Legal Protection as well as proactive education. Society and popular opinion does not change over night and no amount of screaming at internet personalities will speed it up.

Generally, when you say something offensive, I get the vibe that you don't really mean it and that you're parodying people who hold those views. In this case, I didn't get that vibe. Everyone is entitled to their own views, but I personally don't enjoy listening to people who feel the need to judge others for what they are rather than for who they are. That being said, your videos have always been entertaining in the past and, given the context, it's entirely possible that this was just a misunderstanding. I've always been reluctant to condemn someone based on a single mistake, so I'll keep watching for the time being.
