I found it absolutely hilarious because you have these RPers who usually are the ones accounting for the stereotypical WoW player arguing back and forth trying to be sophisticated but it's just downright sad. Example being how if you go to the forums you STILL see the argument and that guild "Blood of Lordaeron" still tries to defend their actions and their guild leader's absolute hostility. Who am I going to really find sad though, the group that would pay the like 5 dollars it is to make a WoW account to troll, or the people getting obviously angry and trying to respond with things like "You should calm down when you type. This will allow you to think more clearly and also spell without smashing your big, sausage fingers against so delicate an instrument." You can't speak venomously and try to sound sophisticated. It doesn't work. Nor does speaking in a sophisticated manner make you not angry. Would not shock me in the slightest if their GM (Madelynne) is actually a cow IRL, that would explain A LOT. On the whole grand scheme, I know RPers are VERY fond of the lore, so I guess a lore breaking guild is a natural target. More so one that openly says they don't care about the lore. If you want to roleplay and not have a setting, go play second life or some shit. You play WoW to be in WoW universe. You play in Azeroth. You can't say "We want Azeroth, but we really don't give a damn about your established lore." It doesn't work that way.

Well, funnily enough, I managed to construct a story where my character was old enough to be born in Gilneas pre-Gilneas wall, be raised as a Scarlet and then escape young enough to recover from said Scarlet corruption and become a relatively good Paladin. He's quite old, though.
