AMAZONE is now expanding the range of precision sowing technology with the trailed product types Precea 9000-TCC and 12000-TCC with 9 and 12 m working widths. The variant specially developed for contractors and large farms impresses with its powerful overpressure separation, large container volumes and the innovative Central Seed Supply seed supply system. The very precise seed placement ensures high field emergence even at high working speeds of up to 15 km/h.
Central container concept - separate per row
For particularly high area performance and time-saving filling, the new Precea-TCC has a central seed hopper that holds up to two 2,000 l big bags. With the new Central Seed Supply seed supply system, the seed is fed from the central container to the singling units by air flow. There, the seed for each row is temporarily stored in a small storage container. If the maximum filling level is reached in this receiving unit, the air flow and thus the further supply are automatically interrupted by the supplied seed. If the filling level drops again, the air flow starts automatically and conveys seed from the main hopper to the individual rows. This intelligent air flow of the Central Seed Supply means that each singulation unit is supplied with seed independently, without the system requiring complex sensors or electronic controls.
Exact separation on each row
For seed singling, AMAZONE relies on its high-precision PreTeC singling units, which work with the overpressure principle. The seed is pressed against the singling disc with compressed air. The seal rotates with the singling disc, which means that the power consumption of the electric single-row drives is significantly lower. The automatically readjusting SmartControl scraper remote adjustment, which is coupled with the optical sensors, effectively prevents faults and doubles. The electrically driven singling disc rotates depending on the driving speed and desired seed quantity and conveys the seed in the direction of the seed channel. At this point, the contact pressure is interrupted and the grain shot precisely into the seed furrow, stopped by the catcher roller and placed safely.
A furrow former ensures precise seed placement. Two support rollers and the high, hydraulically adjustable coulter pressure ensure even depth control. For even more comfort, AMAZONE offers the SmartForce automatic coulter pressure control. This ensures constant compliance with the set contact force and thus always even seed placement, especially with changing soil conditions.
The electric metering drive ElectricDrive makes it very easy to set the desired seed quantity via the ISOBUS terminal and is the basis for exact compliance with site-specific quantity control via GPS and field zone map. In addition, especially with the large working widths, the GPS SectionControl actively saves seed in wedges and on the headlands per individual row and offers ideal conditions for mechanical weed control with the hoe, for example.
Two-chamber container for fertilizer
The Precea-TCC is equipped with an easily accessible two-chamber hopper for a total filling volume of 6,000 l for the simultaneous application of fertilizer. Each container has its own electric dosing device, which is coupled to a distributor head, which means that a half-side switch is available as standard. The fertilizer is spread via the FerTeC twin HD fertilizer coulter. The delta between the placement depths of the fertilizer and the seed is set once. If the sowing depth is then changed, the fertilizer coulter automatically adjusts the depth in the same ratio to the sowing depth.
