New Bluetti AC200L vs. AC200Max Is it an upgrade?
In this video I will go over the features of the new Bluetti AC200L and compare these features against the Bluetti AC200 Max. I will also give my opinion on which unit I think I would prefer after comparing both units specs and features.
Disclaimer: I am not affiliated with Bluetti but so far I am a fan of their products! If there are any discrepancies in this video’s information I will do my best to post corrections in this description thank you!

The AC200L does not support (obviously) the D050S Battery Charging Enhancer. With the D050S and a second power brick, the AC200 Max can take a 1000W AC charge. Still not as fast at AC charging as the 200L, but that narrows the charging gap. Second, with the D050s, the 200 Max can garner PV charging from two separate solar panel arrays. For instance, one solar array may be panels on the roof of an RV, while the second array may be portable panels like the Bluetti PV200. To the MAX, it doesn't matter what the solar panel configuration is for each array (as long as the panels are within the 200 Max specs). But it does matter to the 200L with only a single outlet for one solar panel array. It would be very helpful if the next AC200 iteration includes a DC Charging Enhancer. Cost-cutting has its virtues, but when operator flexibility is discounted for something as essential as PV charging, losing that extra solar charging port is gonna be an issue. [edited]

There's no question about it, it's a huge upgrade to the 200Max and I am coming from the 200P and have been using it 24/7 for three years straight. I also have a B230 laying around here along with four B300 batteries.

I will wait the AC240 in April It is IP65. 15 ms ups parallel connector to connect two host for 4800w inverter and 3072 wh and all plugs are double 2x 12v30A and 2 x 1200w pv array

You failed to mention the 200L can only output a total of 140 watts on the usb C outlets combined. So if you have both C outlets plugged in, the L max will be 140 watts. Not sure why they did that. Maybe can be fixed with a software update. I would buy the cheaper max and cheaper b230. I see no reason to buy this 200L. The max will AC charge with an extra brick @ 1000. I also love 30 am dc plug. With the new 48 volt plug U are going to have to buy a unit they don’t even have. To me this is not an up grade but the real upgrade is the 7000 watt surge. So the L will start an AC unit without a soft start. The max cannot start an AC unit without a soft start. I don’t use my max to run my camper (AC) I have a delta pro for that and it’s the only true 30 amp plug and starts my 15k AC unit without soft start. Just some info for U

I'm fairly new at this solar stuff but have camped in travel trailers most of my life and used regular gas genny's until now, and I'm looking to upgrade to a solar genny. But if you have a 50 Amp motor home, can you get and use an adapter for it to still be able to plug in? And run the roof ac unit?

The 200L I say is a bit of a downgrade for me. Although they have taken away the AC brick and the app and solar input is a lot better. But they took away the 12v 30amp socket?? and the 2 wireless charging on top! With the new AC240. They have brought back the 12v 30amp socket. SO I will wait for that to come out. Not sure how many people will use the AC240 in the rain? But I think this is a better upgrade from the 200 Max than the 200L.

Thanks for all info on the 200 L Were do you buy the D -40 12/24/48 volt i need to get one i had a 200 max and it had the right plug for 12 volt thanks

After researching the D40 it does not appear that Bluetti has released it yet!

D40 does not get you 12v30A. It is working only to charge a battery in a Rv. You CANNOT connect a D40 to a 12v fuse block to provide power. With the anderson cable, maybe you can connect a converter 48 to 12v. This would be the only way, but a D40 eon’t help you.

Maybe you can help me on this. The specs on the ac200L states that the maximum ac input is 2400, but it is my understanding that you need a code from bluetti to be able to use that feature- that the standard ac input for it is 1200 watts. Some folks were leading me to believe that to use the 2400 watt ac input I need a 240 watt outlet (like the clothes washer plugs into?) but I just called customer service and they said no, you can get the 240 watts from a standard home outlet and the standard power cord that comes with it is sufficient. Is that correct?

I think I can help answer your question. I am not aware of you needing a code from Bluetti in order to unlock the full 2,400 watts of AC charging! But from a 120v outlet rated at 20 amps you should be able to get 2,400 watts of input to the AC200L ( 120v x 20amps = 2,400 watts )! Perhaps you need a code to unlock this feature from Bluetti which would be surprising as they say that the AC200L is capable of 2400w of AC charging on their website but with that said it could be perhaps because charging the LifePo4 battery pack that fast could shorten the life of the battery pack! This may help ( from the AC200L user Manual “For a fast charge, you can enable Turbo Charging in the BLUETTI App, which allows for an 80% capacity in just 45 minutes at an ambient temperature of 25°C (77°F) “. Turbo charging allows the full 2,400w of AC charging but as I stated while this “ Turbo charging is possible “. It would probably in most cases be better to charge the battery at the slower rates of 800w ( Offers a quiet, low-power operation for long battery life ) and 1,200w ( More Friendly to the AC200L’s battery )! From the AC200L Manual 2,400w ( comes in handy when charging time is a priority )! The D40 won’t give you a 12v30A. According to a bluetti tech you won’t be able to connect the D40 directly into a fuse box. You will need a battery. They said there is two way to use it , so the second way is via a cable with an anderson end. I am not sure if we will be able to convert from 48v to 12v with an external converter. If it is anderson end there is no third pin for data. But the D40 is only to charge a battery.

You won’t be able to connect b210 on ac200 max with a firmware update. These use a new connector to allow more battery (up to 4 on ac240 and even 8 with the new parallel connector on the ac240. The futur ac240 will provide 4800w inverter when 2 host are connected together. Also 2 x ac240 will double everything capacity and storage and plugs so will the solar. 2x1200w solar into 2 pv array. And the weight of each element will be lower than 200L and 200Max. And i forgot the wireless will be back on ac240 and there is the RV 30A and the 12v30A (not the useless 48v) and you can get two by buying 2 x ac240

in north america we have two reason to use 48 volt as a power source bassboat trolling motor and starlink .. anyone else list any others.. that ac L also has two 100 watt usb BUT you can only use one at a time so you use one and look at the other.. china headgames right there..lol

its funny as hell.. not a single american viewer can say what the 48 volt plug in is for.. it was stupid to remove the 12 volt 30 amp plug for a useless 48 volt.. the 48 should have been on European models and give us americans what we use every day.. 12 volt. and whats the use in two 100 amp usb if you can only use one at a time.. this L has some serious flaws . i went with the 200 max but im just going to use it for a instant pot at the beach tailgating..lol for now..

The ac200L ..to use turbo / 2400 watt ac charging, you need a password..
