2:05 You can see the Predator has a forked tongue. Something that confused me as to why later installments never seem to include despite the fact it was shown as part of their anatomy that was created by Stan Winston (his concept art). Only Predator 1 and 2 seem to remember this and included it in the face of the Predator. Also, just realized that Danny's shoulder is clawed and bleeding from the Predator grabbing him from when they were probably about to fall. Nice detail there.

Well they are much more advanced than us in materials science and chemistry, probably the neon blue solution it pours on creamic and glass in the cooking stove looking device forms metalloorganic compounds (even transmutates elements in ceramic and glass) instantly cauterizes and repair tissues. They look like reptilian so it is highly probable they are carbon based life form.

It was stated to be a young one that was cocky. So more than likely a new Blooded hunter that had little experience. He was being very sloppy and was getting too excited by all the carnage happening in LA ( gang wars, crime, etc.). It was even stated in the novel that the Elder Predator was getting concerned with the Young hunter drawing so much attention that he was about to step in before the confrontation between the young hunter and Harrigan.
