This right here. I watched a couple of these videos. Others didn't explain how to make sure you're at the correct TDC. Or they tried to but it didn't communicate well. Now I get it. The TDC with no pressure on the valves. This is why y'all are great instructors. 🙂

I am having an issue with the 212 hemi not wanting to run with the choke off. I have cleaned the carb and replaced the idle jet. It runs and idles fine with the choke on. Any Ideas as to what could cause this?

Fuel starvation, there is a fuel filter screen that screws into your gas tank where the hose clamps on. First run some Seafoam or Marvels Mystery Oil through the tank and see if that clears it.

I had the same problem and I looked up a bunck of videos and found that I had a vacuum leak. Basically the carb wasn’t lined up with the engine right because I put an upgraded carb on the engine so I did it all myself. I took the carb off lined up the extension and it worked. You may also be running too large of main a jet
