Dude you should be getting 40-45 with the governor there’s a screw on the throttle assembly that blocks the throttle from going wide open plus removing the gov. Spring will help🤷♂️

Neighbor got a motovox mbx10 and it had enough room for a complete predator 212 and some to spare. Very fast. Those handle bars are strong. Tough bikes. I'm buying one for myself. Even has suspension front , and back on a swing arm. Did he say they like colman bikes, like the stoves and lanterns? When did they start making mini bikes? I'd like to see one. Do they run off lantern fuel too?
@hereshopengarage2790 Жыл бұрын
Lol Colman makes good bikes

It is good to see everyone had a say and everyone listened to other people. There was a plan but one wanted to do a change up so the parent didn't override what the kids had to say. Great job dad. Let them explore.

Just watched the 212 swap on the Motovox MBX10 and you three worked well together like a well oiled machine! After retirement I was fortunate enough to work for Motovox in the shop Referbishing to Like New Mini-Bikes, Go-Karts and Scooters out of our coral of returns! I Enjoyed it Very much!! I Had Every 10 year Olds Dream!! I just bought a 212 to replace my Grandsons 79cc on his Motovox MBX11 and was looking for any tips when I happened on to your video! It was the Best video I watched so I subscribed! You guys did an Awesome Build!! Biker Bill

I asked about a frame in a scrap pile and they had a motovox bmx10 with a Predator 212 hemi on it and got a great deal. It needed the carb cleaned and rockers adjusted and not it screams. If I get on he throttle too much at a slow speed, the rear wheel will pass up the front wheel if I don't lean forward to keep the front wheel down.

Did you keep the original sprocket and chain from the bike (#35 I believe?)? The predator has 3/4 crank/drive and needs 420 chain sprockets, Did you just get a smaller tooth sprocket to fit on the larger crank?

Hey i'm in the process of doing this...........the Predator throttle is really stiff to slide.......how do you make it looser so that grip throttle moves easily?
@hereshopengarage27903 жыл бұрын
You need to loosen the nut on the throttle linkage on the engine, its a 10mm, it should free up
@ClockFixer3 жыл бұрын
@@hereshopengarage2790 Yep, that worked! I must have my engine mounted a touch too far forward because my chain is just touching the crossmember. Your engine is mounted further back allowing clearance for your chain......
