I had the same issue with the thumb throttle. I got full sweep out of it by taking a Dremel with a carbide grinding bit to the inside of the thumb throttle body. There's casting that you can grind away on the inside.

Dude this is awesome. Love the channel this is the go to channel for mini bikes. I absolutely love everything you do… your never to old to ride mini bikes! I’m 33 my father is 64 and we ride all through the city! Nothing better then riding wheelies on my bt200x down the road with my dad riding one beside me. The heads we turn while riding makes it all worth it.

Makes me excited. Id be building my 224 already but ombwarehouse forgot the 265 cam in my performance kit I got from them. I have some 1.3 arc billet rockers to go with it and I went all out and got the 24mm Mikuni flat slide carb too. So pumped to get working on it.

thx for telling us the jet size, carb size and altitude so ppl at similar altitudes and builds have a place to start on jet sizes instead of guessing.... with 10 main jets and 10 idle jets... that is 100 jet combos possible... that is a LOT OF trial and error and some of us ... might not have the patience to try all those combos. a must RE see vid series ;)

Everyone's jetting will be different. I have even had two identical carbs on the same bike and the jetting turned out different from one another. Check out the carb tuning videos on the channel in the carb tuning playlist. Thanks for watching!

The governor hole up top can be used for Pressure release just put a little air filter on there

I'd rather go with the 224 for the torque. There's no replacement for displacement. I guess the Wildcat 223 is the hot ticket because of the beefy block and the longest stroke in the class.

superman 265 is a great cam, i get 8000rpm out of it with 22 pound valve springs and a 24mm flatslide

@@alexytgaming4543 You can use this cam on any OHV small block except the non hemi Predator. I have one in one of my 196's.

so im confused, my stock internals 224 with a header pipe goes 50+ easy and is geared for 64mph, and im running the 15/5-6 in the back on 6inch mag.. stock carb as well gov is disabled i believe but i never cracked the engine open to take it out, i feel like with the extra parts in it you would smash my bike but it doesnt seem like that big of an improvement ?

This is what I’m trying to figure out also. My 224 went 53 on straight chains with a makuni and gov delete. At this point I want to know if doing all this is making a big enough difference besides being faster to accelerate off the line. while possibly having a lower top speed?😅

@@MrYUBLUE my buddy hates me now pretty much walk out of his life off the line and in the top end every time we ride, he has 300 worth of parts and gov delete in his 212 so 450ish and im sitting at a comfy 150 with parking lot sale and a32 dollar pipe. I did buy multiple sprocket and clutch combos and changed my chain type, but all that gearing is more important to the billet upgrades and this shows it in my opinion.
