I got this helmet a few years ago. I have been riding with it for some time now. I upgraded the string that holds the string that holds the dreads to a rope to re enforce it. I ride fast so i had to. But glad you like this

James D Yeah the sizes are just like normal open face helmets, since that’s what it is underneath. And I went for the biggest size

curious if you can get this helmet on with glasses on and if there is any ventilation?

It comes with the snowboarding style visor attached as standard, but I found that it steams up too much while riding, so I unscrewed it and wear safety glasses underneath instead with an open visor. Works a charm and improves cooling as well. The main issue to watch out for is the high speed lift which the helmet suffers from due to its shape. It tries to pull your head back in high winds.

Fogging actually turned out to be the primary issue, so I removed the visor inside and wear goggles instead 🤘

Seems like it would fog up tho was thinking about getting it for snowboarding maybe drilling the center of the mouth out would help. Would be good to get a gopro up in there for the view out the visor

Yeah I think there's enough space for sure, and it is prone to some fogging, so a balaclava or improvised downward snorkel would be useful

Yeah I've worn this for all of my motorcycle reviews here on the channel: kzfaq.info/sun/PLli-l3TTlwDONu5e2VNTaKl6RkRdeRX1X - although I did remove the visor myself as it gets steamed up too easily. I now wear tinted safety glasses for the wind with no visor on the helmet at all.

I've used it in a few bike reviews here on the channel, and yeah it does benefit from a windshield, since the helmet does try to lift at high speeds

I think the dreads could be slightly slimmer and maybe a dat bit longer. I also like the full metal helmet type mote than this open face, i think these get too big looking and then you look stupid unless you are a really big man or have big gear on 😅

I can't speak for all countries, but yeah it's DOT approved for the street. Some cops might try and get funny about it, but they've got nothing if you know the law properly.

I don't ride on the daily, but it's fine enough. Vision is definitely more limited than a normal helmet, but not dangerous in my opinion. Most valid concern about it would be the wind lift which it experiences at 60+ mph. The chin tries to lift quite strongly and buffets your head about.

Nah, there's no hole for it to begin with. The design is asymmetric, which I love. I've used it to ride a number of times since this vid and decided to remove the skull anyway

That is the problem with helmets based around characters. Movies and games always have to exaggerate the rest of the suit to account for the bobblehead effect. A big riding jacket works best with it
