Does HoN still have a healthy playerbase? Tbh it is the best version of Dota if you ask me. My only regret is the lack of ability to disable all the annoying cosmetics. (A thing which Dota2 also suffers from).

If by healthy, you mean active- somewhat. Its not hard to find a game these days. If by healthy you were asking about the status of the game- it can still be plenty toxic as hell.
