I'm only here to say how much I'm enjoying listening to you (Pete) and Ricardo Boxall on the Range. What a great team. 👏👏 😎👍

It’s a shame “main stream” golf isn’t freely available to watch. All those new golfers that have been brought into the game…….. will not be watching the event. After 30 years of golf….. I’ll not be watching it either……. Such a shame that only KZfaq golf is for everyone 🇬🇧👍

I must say I really do a lot of research that you guys really do to go ahead and do this podcast. It really makes it interesting for me thank you

As a Scotsman I thoroughly enjoyed your England's euros final section. Really made my day 😂😁

In my opinion the Tour should at least bring in Pete's team and the Bryanbros team just on pure production and a better way to present some of the behind the curtain stuff and honestly how the tournaments are covered.

Man Jacob, I hope your picks are accurate because some friends and I did a draft just between us, and I picked all three of your top three before I even watched the video. Also, I love Tommy too and want him to win.
@SalvopopoАй бұрын
Agree with the Tommy pick. Though Scottie showing up early to fine tune his game is though to pick against.

Don't sleep on Tyrell Hatton. He has won on LIV this season. He has finished 5th at the Open last time it was at Troon and to top it off he finished second last week. Currently one of the best putters on LIV, keeping up with Cam Smith. He's my outside pick.
@chrishartman5383Ай бұрын
Jacob: when you narrowed down the young and older players to roughly 12 players, you then narrowed them down by saying who won this year. But left Tyrell off that list who won on LIV, and was near the top a few days ago too.

And that's each way placed on Fairway Jesus 🤣 he's my favourite golfer as well, always chuck a cheeky E/W bet on him for the majors. Let's hope!

Åberg doesn't rank high in the scrambling stats because he doesn't miss the greens!

My dark horse pick for winning The Open is Akshay Bhatia. He's young, but a great golf talent.

Gutted this was filmed too early for a review of the Scottish Open 🏴
@doggoronnie3387Ай бұрын
@Jacob - how have you missed Akshay Bhatia off the list?! He's 22, had a win, and ranked 26th on data golf. Don't know his scrambling stats but should have made the shortlist of 5

Because I like getting hurt, I’m picking Rory to win. It has to happen eventually right? After that, I’m taking Theegala.

Tiger on his way to the glue factory, and Mr.Bean look alike Rory is right behind him. Fantastic resort course player sure, but dude folds like a lawn chair. Tiger is only playing majors because of an arrangement with PGA to keep the fat nostalgic fans watching. This also goes for Rory's simp brigade.

Last time Europe played on US site their team got waxed. So we’ll see which captain gets bent over. Best guess it won’t be Keegan so that comment was very weak.

Scottie will not win...again. The only one of that top you named with a chance is Rory. I'm looking out for Tyrrell Hatton, Louis Oosthuizen, Dean Burmester and Cam Smith from LIV side...Rory and Xander, Hovland, Adam Scott from PGA side. Bryson will place well again...remember what he did at a very difficult US Open that also supposedly didn't suit his game! It is a real pity that Sergio isn't in the field...he might have taken this Major with his game this year! Also looking forward to see how Tiger, Phil and Ernie will fare in comparison...would have been awesome if they got those 3 to play together in the first 2 rounds.

Still not made it through a whole podcast guys. When you start getting too geeky and guessing who was tied 9th at the last troon open I tend to switch off. But do what you have to do.

Ryder Cup captain .. take 12 pro golfers pair them together, and hope they play better then the other captains players do... the captain does not hit a shot (unless he is a playing captain).. it isn't rocket science.
@RoughCutGolfPodcastАй бұрын
Yeah, that approach definitely works lol. 😂 takes a bit more planning and team-building to win as a team.
