Yes! I agree, it’s a life changing experience, SubhanAllah. But if they do go, I think it’s something they’d want to keep personal to themselves instead of vlogging the whole thing. I feel like it takes away from the sacredness of the place when you have a camera up the whole time

Have Alaina pick baby stuff with you and talk a lot about baby with her, give baby special hugs, etc so she can get excited and she's prepared way ahead. In sha Allah she'll be super happy and excited and it'll make the transition easier!

When you mentioned the wipe warmer, I totally agreed with you! I have a 2 month old now and he is just soooo much more sensitive than my first boy. Every time I changed him in the middle of the night, he would shiver from the cold wipes and it would make him spit up milk. I thought he would get used to the cold wipes but he really didn’t. Cold is cold and even I don’t like being cold so I definitely recommend the wipe warmer ❤

I potty trained my daughter during a long weekend break at age 2.5. Alhamdulilah she did really well - even though we are struggling a bit with number 2. Definitely mentally prepare yourself. Don’t stress if you feel like she’s not ready. It’s important to make the learning experience for them positive. There’s absolutely no rush. ❤

I have two kids, my first one was 5 years old and I had my second but he was so amazing with his little sister. I would give him so much love but also explained that his sister is so little so we have to give her more attention. I had him helped me with a lot of things just so he was no getting jealous ❤❤

My daughter is 3 this month and I'm currently 12 weeks pregnant. My daughter is so freaking excited to be a big sister she practices changing diapers on her baby doll and holds her so gently it's the cutest thing ever. I loved my wipe warmer when my daughter was still in diapers. Very glad i saved it so I can use it for this baby. Congratulations to you and your family!!!

You are going to be just fine, I went on Umrah in 2020 just before the pandemic it and closed borders … travelled with a 17 month old and I was around 17 weeks pregnant Alhamdulilah I was so grateful for the experience… travelled from South Africa btw

Congratulations on your pregnancy!! 🎉 It is such a blessing having kids ❤️ my third baby is 8 months right now and all my pregnancies have been different 😂, we couldn’t trained our 1st son to sleep by himself, but let me tell you, he is turning 8 this April and now he is the most independent kid I’ve ever known 😍❤️ so smart and responsible. We trained our 2nd and 3rd child to sleep in their own crib since born and it is so wonderful. I’m pretty sure you’ll do a great job ☺️

Loved this video Leena! And yes, go perform Umrah. It’s been 4 months since I’ve been and it was my first time. It was so nice and I actually didn’t realize I was there until I got back. That’s where I really thought, “I really was in Mekka and Medina”. So when you guys go, enjoy and use your time well! And maybe you guys could go to Dubai or Qatar. The weather is really nice there too.

Girl you should definitely go to TURKEY along with your Umrah trip. It’s AMAZING, so many beautiful places, Cappadocia is beautiful but if you want a relaxing beach vacation there’s thousands of amazing resorts and some of which are like the Maldives too.

Hi Leena! I just had my first baby boy this past Nov and wanted to let you know, I still used my Paula’s choice exfoliant throughout my pregnancy and it’s perfectly fine. As long as it’s a low dose, it’s safe. It was hard for me to figure out a good skincare routine while pregnant since I had to stop using my retinol. The PC exfoliant + La-Roshe Posay 5.5% benzoyl peroxide helped with pregnancy hormonal breakouts. Just my experience! Congrats to you and your family!

Hey Leena Congrats!❤❤ I would recommend for your Umrah trip not to go to another destination esp like the Maldives as you will be pretty tired and exhausted. With being pregnant you want to take it easy and also you’ll make the most out of it and feel the spirituality as you come home to your routine ❤

When I found out I was pregnant again I worked on sleep training for my firstborn, luckily he was such a champ. My second was still breastfeeding when I tried sleep training him and I failed miserably with him lol. I tried again after a few months and it went much better because he was older and no longer breast feeding.

I have a 27 month old and a 4 month old and it’s getting a long more manageable but honestly it was really really hard in the beginning but my advice just literally take it one day at a time and try your best to not think of tomorrow or next week it honestly cuts the stress in half

Mom of two under two here lol, my daughter got scared the first time she saw her baby brother then went on crying, she also refused to talk to me for days and kept stalking her dad lol..elhamdoulileh it's getting better each day, she now loves her brother and he does as well lol it's definitely not easy to adjust between each one's needs but it's a blessing elhamdoulileh❤ good luck

So ridiculously excited for you guys!! Just wanted to respond to the wipe warmer and baby monitor stuff. Wipe warmers are wonderful for baby boys (they will literally pee on you when you hit them with the cold wipes haha) and you could use it for Alaina too while still needed and she will love it also. I wanted to recommend the baby monitor that I bought for my October baby, it is no-Wifi (no one can tap into it and it won't stop working if Wifi is being funky) and it has it's own monitor screen, the visual is fantastic and crisp. I ordered it from Amazon, it is very affordable and has been a wonderful monitor for us. It is the HelloBaby HB6588 Model, and you could even check Ebay for a new in box one and maybe get an even better deal. Anyway, congrats again! Xoxo!!!

How about Morocco? But definitely go during the spring, North Africa is beautiful that time of year. Also, can you talk about your experience making up fasts for Ramadan that you miss due to pregnancy. Alhamdulilah the easiest Ramadan of my life was during my pregnancy, I was also in my second trimester - I didn’t have to make up a single day 😅. I’m more worried now about fasting while nursing in the coming Ramadan though… Oh and congratulations. May Allah make your song amongst the righteous! 💙

I have IBS, too. Had no problem with fertility! I think my stomach felt better during pregnancy. My body was too confused by everything else lol Also, we used the "Hello Baby" monitor. It's closed circuit so randos can't hack into your wifi and look at your baby!

3:10 1st baby back to prepregnancy weight in 6 week 2nd baby at 6 week I was still 5kg over at 6 months reached prepregnancy weight (before pregnancy took 1 year to gain 10kg health fats cas was considered underweight n unhealthy) Both breastfed 6:00 definitely genetics BUT drink lots of water = skin elasticity = decrease or minimise stretch marks TRY NOT to use harsh body washed cas dry skin= delicate =easy damage (try shea moisture)

With my first baby I knew at 2 weeks I was pregnant. I am super active and would run a mile or two everyday back then. One day I got super nauseous before my run and threw up. I instantly knew I was pregnant. Had the worst nausea and all day sickness throughout my entire pregnancy unfortunately.

Yup def each pregnancy is different. With my first I vomited a lot. With this pregnancy currently only nausea. It’s so weird. I’m just happy I’m in the second trimester too so I can finally eat again 😩🤣❤️ May Allah keep you healthy for the rest of the pregnancy.

Don't worry too much about Alaina, she will be a great big sister. On the note of fasting while pregnant, women are not actually exempt from it unless they're actually unable to do it because it is harming the woman or child. Women have to try and only after they try, they are exempt. I know the thought of fasting while pregnant is scary but if I was able to do it, anyone can.

I hope you can go for Umrah. My daughter is the same age as Alaina and my husband and I went with her when I was pregnant with my next baby I was 11 weeks and it was in spring 2022. I hope you can go in Shaa aallah and consider bringing Alaina too.

Personally, as someone who was induced with my 1st and had all natural for my 2nd and 3rd, I would definitely never be induced again Even though my induction went well, going natural was soooo much better. I would highly suggest not getting induced again, and just get to experience all natural.

you can visit some places while in Saudi like riyadh, Jeddah, Alula . you can definitely go to UAE they have nice resorts

You look beautiful as always , they say being pregnant with a boy is harder ,would you agree with that ? May you have a smooth pregnancy 💓 I used African Shea butter I would mostly use it at night just cause sometimes it could be a little oily but not as oily as reg oils ... i thought it worked on me but again every body is different.

Hey, Leena I was going to suggest something about chocolate. I found that milk chocolate gives me more heartburn and intestinal discomfort but I found like dark chocolate does not as much so, I have been getting 70-78% percent. I tried 90% but that was a little too bitter. I might has well been eating tree bark.

I completely agree with your mind set changing when you get married. Children were never on my radar ever before meeting my now husband, but seeing him and thinking about how great of a dad he will be has changed my whole outlook and I can’t wait to have children when the time is right

Wishing you all the best Leena! My first is 2 months younger than Alaina and I have a 3 1/2 month old. I also moved to a new house when I was pregnant and all I did was pack while sitting and my husband did the moving with friends. A good excuse to move while pregnant 😂

I had gained a total of 50lbs by the end of pregnancy and it was a boy 😭😂 so I think that's true about the gaining weight w/ a boy!

Congratulations so happy for u When my sister was born i was only 1 year and a a half so i really don’t remember however my mom told me that they used to tell me that ur sister is smaller and she is still not responsible and they used to let me do some stuff for my sister for example giving her the bottle or changing her clothes and for everything i do they used to gift me for it and ig this is helpful to create love between siblings and so i thank my parents for this Love u leena And by the way im only 13 however i really enjoy those postive calm videos And i just want to tell u that ur one of the powerful reasons of me being a hijabi love u 😘 ❤
