I have yet to film our birth vlog (and my daughter was born almost 3 months ago). I had a c-section with my first and hoped to have a "redemptive birth experience" by having a VBAC. Long story short, I didn't get a VBAC, and yet even with a repeat c-section God still provided me with a "redemptive birth." At first I couldn't see it, because I was so devastated in the moment. But, as I look back I can see so much of God's redemption in this second birth experience. The main thing was that my first birth I was COMPLETELY alone and felt like I couldn't feel God there (even though I know He was). This second birth (although not at all what I wanted) was so different, because through it all I felt God's presence. My OB even stopped the entire OR to pray. I still had to mourn the loss of the birth I had hoped for, but in doing so and processing, I have seen that I still got a redemptive birth. God answered that prayer. I pray that for you as well... no matter what your birth ends up looking like, I pray that you feel God's peace and presence and can still have the redemptive birth you hope for even if it may not be exactly how you hoped or thought it would be. Will continue praying for you.

Thank you for sharing... I will be praying for you... the thing that I've been doing lately is praying Psalm 91 over me my teenage children and my husband especially because my children and my husband aren't saved but Psalm 91 brings me such peace. I encourage you pray some 91 over you your baby your son and your husband everyday. I've memorized it. I memorized some 91 years ago and every time I pray it it just brings me such peace and comfort. ❤

I’m sorry for the added stress you’ve got during pregnancy. But if it brings you any comfort I’ve had placenta previa in the past and it has always moved out of the way as the pregnancy progressed. 🙏

Ooh I read Expectant while pregnant and really enjoyed it ☺️ so cool that she’s your friend! I’ll also be praying for you and sweet baby. I was planning on a homebirth for my rainbow baby, but she ended up being breech and we had to transferred for a c-section. I was sad, and grieved the loss of what I wanted for my birth, but it was undeniable that God answered my prayers that no matter what I would be at peace and that there would be joy through it all. (This was the prayer I was praying over my labor and delivery before this went down. )🤍 I will pray the same for you to be able to feel His presence and peace no matter what and can trust His plan, while also praying that the placenta moves and that your desires for this birth are granted. He cares!
