Once when I was five I was like really mad at my mom, so when she was outside gardening I grabbed the box of bottle caps(like the beer ones) and went into her bedroom. I started placing them spiky part up on her side of the bed. When I was done she never noticed until she went to bed. And the next morning she told me that when she found out her and my dad started laughing so hard because it looked like I wanted to hurt her. Sadly one of the only creepy things I did as a child

In my house it’s actually the opposite: we got up before our parents did. In fact, one of my mom’s biggest complaints was that we’d wake them up unloading the dishwasher which, to be fair, is VERY loud and not easy to do quietly. So we’d either wait until they got up or try to slowly put the dishes away so they wouldn’t clang together. Not an easy task by the way. Now we all get up at roughly the same time so no one has to worry about that. 😁

The toddler alarm is quite ingenious cuz I used to sneak out of my room quite often as a kid and climb on the kitchen counters my parents put a locking chain on my door after finding me playing with kitchen knives... and they also found out I slept walk so that's another reason as well

The beginning is so relatable. My room is right next to the kitchen. My mom and dad would make coffee and mix it soooooo loud, and my mom also would empty the dishwasher at about 8:30 and she would wake us up to put everything away.
