Randy Higgins is taking his grandson Michael back to the hospital. Despite all the treatments and medicine, poor Michael's health is not improving. After waiting for a while, they are finally seen by a doctor. Michael's primary physician is out of town, so Dr. Benjamin offers his assistance. Randy takes one look at Dr. Benjamin, and demands to see another doctor. But then when Michael's condition becomes critical, Randy is forced to trust Dr. Benjamins and place Michael's fate in the visiting doctor's hands.

Yeah, in reality, someone like this racist grandpa would likely either continue being racist to the doctor despite him saving his grandson's life or come to respect only this one Black man in a condescending "you're a credit to your kind" sense 🤮

Great video from Soul Snack. Once again, this reminds me of the true event when a young white kid was dying of an illness. The paramedics that arrived just happened to be black. Well, the mother lied to them and said that her son wasn't sick anymore. She did it out of racism and the boy later died. The boy didn't have to die. He lost his life because of her hate and she got arrested.

What’s so crazy is. If you get the blood from a blood bank, you don’t know who the blood 🩸 comes from, only that it’s been tested for diseases, but you don’t know what race or who the donor is. Like the saying goes, we all bleed 🩸 red. I had to have a blood transfusion after I had a bypass on my leg. I just Thank God for our donors. Because when I went home, I got up to make coffee one morning, then felt something wet running down my leg, I looked 👀 and saw a clot hanging from my inner thigh as big as my fist. My daughter called 911 there was a trail from my bedroom to the kitchen, when the EMT’S got there, they ask my daughter where’s the body. My daughter told them she’s my mom, and she’s not dead. I’m so thankful for people that donate.

There is no such thing as black blood. According to Acts, chapter 27, the Lord has made of one blood all the nations of the earth. Blood is red only, no matter what color a person's skin is. I am a great-grandmother, and I have never ever ever understood these irrational prejudices.

It doesn't matter if someone is white or brown or black we are all the same on the inside we all have a heart and we all have blood running through our veins so he should be ashamed of himself for being racist and almost not taking that blood cause that could have ended badly he was putting his grandson's life at risk and that's not something you play with but he did the right thing and made the right choice so it all ended up ok

When a loved one has cancer, we just don't think and sometimes end up doing stupid things. The moral of this story, if we are down and concerned about our loved ones, instead of jumping to conclusions and end up saying something that we will regret later on, best to take a deep breath, talk to God and let Him handle it.
