they weren't cloudy goals they were quite clear, in fact.

Lots of the players Liverpool brought in in the early 90s could be said to be very good players, but there were so many of them and the team as a whole never gelled.

Great come back

I was in the anfield road that night and in going 3-0 up was some of the best football I’ve seen us play. Can’t believe we let a 3 goal lead slip though.

4:19 This is the first time which LFC fans noticed the Martin Tyler bias in his commentatory when Liverpool equalise. If this was a reverse fixture and Man Utd came from 3 goals down, Tyler would have went estatic! This is why I hate Martin Tyler.

Appointing souness was the beginning of the end.

Kam Singh souness’s mentality was hard men. He wanted ruddock, Julian dicks, matteo etc. All to rough the opposition up. He also shipped out Beardsley, McMahon , Staunton etc a lot of the old guard. He ruined Liverpool

I vividly remember watching this on sky sports, I was 11 or 12 years old and had only really just started getting into football so didn't really know the utter hatred these clubs have for each other and so therefore the Rollercoaster of emotions both sets of fans would have gone through.

I thought Martin Tyler was about to cry at the end because of Liverpool's comeback ,the difference in his voice to utds goals compared to Liverpool's was amazingly biased.

2 unlikely 90's Liverpool comebacks at Anfield vs ManUtd in the 2 most successful season's for ManUtd under Ferguson until 2007/08 (93/94 & 98/99 ManUtd were robbed in that 2-2). There was also two 2-0 PL wins here vs ManUtd in the calendar year of 1995 in 2 season's where ManUtd were in a tough title race that went to the last day with a more handicapped team both years than their 93/94 & 98/99 teams. There was also two 1-3 PL wins here for ManUtd in the calendar year of 1997

@@steventhompson2511 Watch his theatrical fall for the first, it would be comical if the issue at hand was not so serious. For the second goal, what on earth was he doing so far off his line, inviting Giggs to chip the ball over him. The defenders were recovering from Redknapp’s error, BG had no need to advance that far. Irwin’s free kick was the most blatant of the three, as his positioning is tantamount to creating an open goal. Yes he made some great saves as well during the game, but he would have known to do so to avert suspicion. The thought of any Liverpool player accepting bribes to engineer our team’s defeat is unthinkable, especially against MU, but sadly this was the case with Grobbalaar. Don’t forget the financial rewards at that time were not as great then as they are now, and BG knew his career was in it’s twilight. Bruce was a character and would have made a great pundit and TV personality but his links to betting fraud made him completely unacceptable to Sky and the BBC. A shameful episode but not an isolated one, unfortunately.
