Still amazing that Newcastle was DFL at Christmas 2021 and today are headed to Champions League nights, with at least half the squad (and many of those being starters) being the same players.

@@efcdom1878 Not sure about that as they have the biggest financial war chest in football. But I haven’t seen them linked to any of the big names available in the Summer yet but they can really load up on smaller names without overspending on one or two players.

@@efcdom1878 Gordon left Everton in January yet he still finished as Everton's 4th top scorer in the league🤣 Gordon admitted himself that it hasn't gone as well as he would have expected but if anyone can improve his game, it's Howe.

The teams that get promoted to the premier and stay up usually struggle 2nd season. Time will tell.

Finally for years we were plagued with the yoyo clubs (Norwich, Watford, West Brom) who were too good for tier 2 and horrendous in tier 1. No ambition or drive. Teams like Brentford and Forrest have shown that they can be forward-thinking and can hang with the big boys. Sad to see Leeds slip back in there but they now know what it takes to come back up and stay up.

Then you're an idiot. Pep dominates everywhere he goes. Before him Man city were winning titles under manchini and pelligrini but it wasnt three in a row or two in a row, before Pep is was 2 in 5 years, with pep its 5 in 6 years.. big difference bud.. Also 4 league cup wins.. when Pep is gone im sure they'll win, but maybe 2 in 5
