Super featherweight action, former world champion Mark Magsayo (26-2, 17 KOs) scored one knockdown on his way to a 10-round unanimous decision over Eduardo Ramirez. Two judges scored the bout 97-92 with a third score of 99-90.
Magsayo’s power proved to be the difference against a game Ramirez. Two straight rights in the third dropped Ramirez (28-4-3, 13 KOs), who rose and immediately fought fire with fire. Magsayo remained in command, pulling away to win in convincing fashion.

Mark is a really good fighter but he has terrible balance. He throws wild punches from all angles and pulls himself out of position. Pacquaio can get away with it because he has great footwork and exceptional balance. Mark’s trainers need to work on that. A good opponent could exploit it. Ramirez is a gutsy kid but he needs to let his hands go and straighten out his punches. It would cut down on the beatings.

Ok din yun para hindi maulit yung mga defeats nya na kinakapos sya ng hangin. His power and speed is incredible. I know he can finish the opponent in the early round but that is their strategy. Let us just respect their decision. If Magsayo will be careless baka magaya pa kay Pacquiao vs Marquez paubos na oras na K.O. pa.

Commentators cannot see that magsayo simply respects the capability of his opponent. Magsayo knew his opponent can knock him down if he will be careless.. that's the reason why magsayo keeps giving one punch and less combinations.. like what mayweather does " hit and don't get hit"..

Magsayo is not going to win against Navarrete if he box like this. He stops fighting and landing few punches and his opponents recover. He is missing a lot of punches. He will be a journey man and will be stepping stone of rising boxers.

Magsayo looks more leaner less top heavy, had more stamina compared to his previous fights. Referee was very nice to him overlooking under the belt hip shots, back of the head shots, the pushing and head butts.

Mark is heavy hitter, almost all his punches he throws at 80-100% power, most boxers conserve energy by just tapping light punches and putting power in the last punch of the combo, but Magsayo is exciting to watch because he has enough stamina to punch hard every round
