2 жыл бұрынThe three-division champion Philippines' Casimero (30-4, 21 KOs), fighting in his United States televised debut, dropped Micah (24-1, 19 KOs) early in the second round with a left hook, and consistently used his right hand in devastating fashion to finish off the Brooklyn, N.Y.-trained Micah, a 2012 Ghanaian Olympian who suffered the first loss of his career.
It was a complete performance for Casimero, who said after the fight that he's ready for all the top 118-pound fighters in the division. "I hurt him in the second round with an uppercut, but I knew I was facing a good fighter," he said. "I didn't expect to knock him out so fast. He's strong, so I was prepared to go all 12 rounds.
"I'm the real monster. Naoya Inoue is scared of me. He's next. I would have knocked out anyone today. If Inoue doesn't fight me, then I'll fight Guillermo Rigondeaux, Luis Nery, or any of the top fighters."

Funny this commentators who are pro micah ignoring the powershots Casimiro is throwing... and the ref he should not allow Micah to be checked at the beginning of the round, it give Micah the time to regain... it should be done at the middle of the round if he thinks it is needed... but Casimiro proves to be too strong for Micah...Congrats 4 aces😘💯💥

I've never seen Casimero fight But the 2nd I saw a clip even with his blonde hair I knew he was Filipino by the way he threw his punches. That kind of power at a 117 pounds is unheard of . Some of these fellows from the Philippines that have spirit then crack like nothing else. What a stud to stand in front of that too. Those are heavyweight shots at 117 pounds.

Casimero really loves to punch, he is a natural to this sport. He relishes the action of being punched too, in order to punch in return. He's that kind of animal who actually brings out the very best out of his opponent. Micah was fighting for his life in there, at the top of his game. At some point though, Casimero was going to begin to beat him up; send him reeling from very hard punching, more than he could be tough enough to handle. Because Casimero is the *Major* *League*

@@gentilgentile6571 u go for whoever u like...too slow no chance, inoue has a good fighting style no way casimero coming in close...when its a far range casimero cant punch, casimero is only known for close punch only so keep that in mind..inoue can k.o from distance and no lost.

Inoue broke his nose fighting an old nonito Donaire, and while he is a good boxer, he has never faced anyone like Casimero. And of course, Casimero also hasn't faced anyone at Inoue's level, but Casimero was fighting mostly in his opponents' home country, which Inoue hasn't done yet since all of his major fights always happen in Japan. During Inoue's previous fights, his opponents were like dogs that were scared and kept running inside the ring, and I'm sure that will not be the story when Casimero and Inoue fight. For that to happen, Casimero must get any of the major belts in the super bantamweight division, so Inoue will be the one to chase him.

With American broadcasters you can hear and feel the thunderous sound of the punches like sitting in the ring. You can still hear commentators if you do care too. But in the UK you hear only those boring annoying commentators but nothing of the fighters themselves. I hate UK broadcasting. Bravo to American broadcasters 🥊🥊🥊🥊

Yes, I'm British but I have to agree with you. If I can watch a fight with US commentators, I would chose that rather than the UK one. For example, Calzaghe-Lacy was done by Showtime and Sky. For the life of me, I have been searching for years for a good version of the Showtime one, but all I can get is the lousy Sky version.
