HAWKINS is a brand new record label from London born producer Made By Pete, an artist who can count mavens of the electronic music scene like Damian Lazarus, Sasha and Kolsch as fans of his sound. Following on from a string of successful releases on influential imprints like Crosstown Rebels and Rebirth, the lockdown of 2020 was the perfect breeding ground for a concept that had been bubbling away for many years. For now, HAWKINS exists as platform for Made By Pete to release his own material as he explores the boundaries between organic and electronic music.
For the first release, Made By Pete teams up with Jinadu on ‘Fear The Fall’. The pair’s previous collaboration ‘Beautiful Silence’ was released on Selador Records in 2020, ending up as one of the top 100 best selling tracks of the year in Beatport’s afro house
genre.
