What's up Gunpla fam? Today I have the luxury of reviewing the P-bandai Zaku II 21st Century Real Type. While the kit itself is based off the Zaku II (Char) Revive, this is still a very unique build. The kit comes standard with all the common Zaku weaponry and the classic body profile (we all came to love) Only major glaring flaw is the ball joints in the wrist, making a loose connection. What this kit really brings to the table is a very eye catching color scheme and plethora of water slide decals. All in all, a kit worthy of your shelf. Thanks for watching. The waterslide decals on these kits are notorious for tearing and being placed over panel lines then refusing to stay on. Dont worry about it too much.

It was disappointing for the large waterslide decal to tear. The kit is amazing outside of that. Thanks for making me feel better, thought it was something I did.

I have the green zaku real type. The gouf and gouf flight type as well. The decals for those were pretty epic fail for me. Especially the gouf's color correcting decals. Only thing I can really think of, is adding a small drop of dish soap to the decal bath water, and maybe cut the decal where it covers panel lines and those holes in the shield. The larger decals take a while to soak and the drop of soap can help evenly penetrate, and prevent it from tearing. I will say it looks great without that decal but I know how it feels when the decals dont work out like you hoped.

@@barrybb5409 thanks for the tip. Char’s and mark 2 are the only real type kits I have at the moment. The real type color scheme is something I see Bandai running with, hopefully they improve the slides

I found a delpi decals set for the real type mk2, so hopefully theyre more cooperative when I get to the mk2.
