I like the snail leaving the shell on the top left. I love making blobs and figuring out what the shape is.

Beautifully executed. I've never tried the inks I may do so. Thanks for your step-by-step tutorial It was very helpful and your explanation along with the strokes of the inks and the pencils added the finishing touch.

Adding the white to the color drops is technically making gouache, right?

On the first use of my new brush, it sat in the water as I was called away for an urgent situation. When I got back to it, the bristles are fuzzy and have several random strands pulling out into the air away from the rest of the bristles. Should I cut these off? I'm a beginner and appreciate your help and comments.

Nah, just re-wet the brush. It’s normal to dry like that
