btw what does BAT, CU, and VO do and mean? i can easily assume that BAT has something to do with the battery and VO the voltage but what are they for?

I have been flying the iFlight SucceX Mini F4 stack(20x20) all summer and it is fantastic. The 2206 2600kv motors hit 80A on a regular basis with no problems. The vtx has great picture quality and great range.

This might be super old but I just watched it this morning and you helped me so much boss thank you, I have a iflight nazgul5 v2 analog and I crashed my vtx antana busted inside the vtx itself I ordered a new one there only 35 bucks replaced it but when I put the cable back in the flight controller it crossed one of the connections inside it and fried the vtx so I ordered another bent the pin inside the connector on the flight controller back and still nothing no light on the vtx nothing at all thought the fight controller was done for then I found your video explaining how to solder on the vtx and the succex force vtx came with a cable to solder it into a fight controller so I did what you said soldered it on and bam back in business thank you so much no one else had a video explaining to someone with my intelligence how to solder it on the fight controller your awesome keep making videos they definitely help people 🤟🤟

I didt see you mention it, but it also has 4 dedicated led connectors to hook up 5v strips... I was planning on adding 4 adafruit neopixel strips so this works out perfectly

Mamba Mini F4 has one of those same caps included too. However they fail to mention that you should still install a separate Low ESR cap for the esc power leads...

Great, video man! However in many of the iflight frames if you solder the cap that way you can't fit a vista or other analog vtx's flat.

I'm running a srxl2 spektrum receiver and it tells me thru spektrum to wire it to a TX pad for telemetry now in ur vid you say to wire it to r2 pad will I still be wiring it to r pad or t pad

Hi great video! I Have a Nazgull5. I'm having trouble soldering the nbs tbs receiver. I used 3 wires, ground, positive and the other white on the NR2 port. Is correct? I tried to configure it in betafligth but the drone is beeping all the time. Could you please help me?

Hello. I have a question: I ordered the Nazgul5 without the rx because I’m a Spektrum user. And I have the new Spektrum micro rx which uses their new srxl2 protocol they introduced in Betaflight 4.1. Do I also have to use R2 pad for the signal? Still waiting for my quad to arrive and I want to be prepared. Would really appreciate if anybody has that info. Thanx

I noticed this doesn’t have barometer, found another video describing how to add barometer to a different flight controller, can you do that to this one somehow with those extra connections near the bottom left (R3/T3, R6/T6, R1/T1)? Thanks for a great video

I’m in the process of setting up this stack. I like it so far. Everything is working properly except my OSD. I’ve got everything hooked up per the manual. I’ve got beta flight configured properly. And I can command the OSD menu through my goggles with the left stick/right stick up control input. Everything shows up in there just not on the actual video feed. Anybody got any suggestions? Thanks.

Have fun trying to get smart for it to work. The wiring diagram rdq took down from their website did not even show how to hook up a smart Port wire from an R9. Best bet would be using fport but I'm not going to bother since the ground switching circuit for the buzzer does not work. Also the USB plug-in only allows 2. 1 volts to the 5 volt pads. I have to plug in the battery to get the receiver to work. It sure flies nice, but I'm sure I'll lose it or ruin my battery waiting for the Hell Gate to go off. No Dshot Beacon either. As for the FC. I want my money back.

There's people who bought 3 SucceX stacks and had them catch on fire after plugging in a 6s battery. Iflight responded to it very horribly, claiming that the victim did not install the capacitors correctly. They said "the capacitor should not be connected directly to the XT60". How ridiculous is that? iFlight is on my blacklist now for any kwad products. Or iflight is simply sending out better quality stuff outside of China.

@@sunshynff The entire event happened in the Chinese FPV community. If you look it up on Bilibili there's like a whole series on this subject. iFlight even made a meme out of it. I can't translate the entire thing though, so you might have to take my words with a grain of salt. To their credit, iFlight makes pretty good battery straps.

@@zhongningli4544... Really, Bilibili?!, that's your source, it's a video gaming site, where you can upload videos of game-play filled with kids, everything is in Chinese. Yesterday I spent almost an hour checking all kinds of help sites, FPV forums and iflight user manuals, and I couldn't even find a whisper of anything like that happening. Don't you think if that really happened, especially 3 from the same group of friends, that someone somehow would talk about it online or on some podcst? I even reached out to a couple sites, where they always know the latest gossip and or truth happening in the FPW world, and they've heard nothing. Oh yeah, one for thing, are you saying in original post that hooking the cap directly to the XT60 is ridiculous, or the fact they're telling us not to do is the ridiculous?

@@sunshynff You do realize there's something called the great firewall right lol? And afaik not everyone knows how to use a vpn. Bilibili isn't a gaming site, more like crunchyroll trying to become youtube. Here are the links: www.bilibili.com/video/BV1ib411V7FC www.bilibili.com/video/av50376084 This person lives in the uk right now so probably he complained somewhere on a UK site. iFlight was basically saying that the poor dude burned 3 escs was because of incorrect capacitor placement. iFlight claims that the capacitor should directly connect to the esc, not the xt60, which in theory should not make any significant difference but iflight claims that it does. I don't usually mind when company ships defects, but the way iflight explained why the esc burned is quite unacceptable. The second link has a screen shot of conversation in English at 2:14.

Hello, I have a problem with my iFlight SucceX-E F4 Flightcontroller/Receiver. I conneted the signal cabel of my Fli 14+ to the R2 port, the red cabel to 5 volt and the ground cabel to ground. The receiver works and binds to my Flysky FS i6 Radio, but if I move the sticks nothing happens on the Betaflight receiver tab. I put serial RX on UART 6, selected in the configurations Tab IBUS and serial-based-receiver but it still does not show any signal. It would be really nice if someone could help me out.

Hello! Nice video i always enjoy watching your videos they are very clear and have the best audio keep up the good work! I have a Nazgul5 6s and I wont to add a buzzer with the battery attached to it and it has 3 wires positive ground and a yellow which is the signal i assume. Where will the yelow one connect to? And one more question on the fc there is 4 white connectors i think they are for the iFlight led strips to connect directly to the fc you didn't mention that in the video any way my question is if i connect the LEDs from the connector thats on the fc will i be able to do all the configuration from betaflight? What’s the difference between pads that are labeled 5v and pads that are labeld +5v? I have a VTX that requires 5v ONLY, so by looking at this video, using that bottom +5v and ground, should work fine? This shit gets so confusing!

Any idea why my smart audio doesnt work? Unify pro v3 . I ran the power to the 5v pad. T1 for SA and uart1 is on. Also im not see amp draw. I have ESC selected for that. Any ideas?

Same Problem... did you find a solution? No bat voltage or smart audio control attached to T1 as shown in the video.
